We didn't get the White Edge here lol. Strange choices. It's not like a theme or color scheme dedicated to a country/region/continent, so why make color exclusives?

Your battery life will get better as time goes on. It takes a few charges to get calibrated. I noticed that TW's estimated battery life counter is pretty low on every device. 10 hrs on a full charge 3600 mAh doesn't seem to add up too much, that's why it could be off.
Yeah it will take a couple charges to see what it can do. But I got 1 hour SOT at 89% so that is pretty good so far.

Cool keep us posted. I just discovered something interesting on Three's specifications page ...

Processor - Samsung Exynos 8890
Octa Core (2.3Ghz Quad + 1.6Ghz Quad)

I thought we were getting the Snapdragon 820 variant in Europe ? Perhaps it's a mistake ?

I was disappointed when I read "quad core" on the box yesterday lol. I was expecting a Hexacore or Octacore tbh.

Lol. Yeah reality is both chips are benchmarking much the same - so both are equally as good - but it's human nature when buying our new gadgets that we worry if were missing out on something. Much like the TMSC and Samsung chip debate with the iPhones last year.

How does it compare so far to the Note? Not just battery life, but performance, camera, touchwiz, and screen in the sun. Thanks.

I have mixed feelings. It is a little smaller than the N5. But at some point I think smaller is not better. It feels faster and more responsive to me. I think battery life is definitely better than the N5.
Camera is faster and shutter speed is amazing. Picture quality is better but haven't had a chance to test it at night yet. TW is more lightweight than before. The screen is definitely a step up but still not great in direct sunlight.

But that is probably a bigger gap than the Snapdragon/Exynos gap because they said some difference existed in the technology (14 nanometers for Samsung) and the TSMC battery life was slightly better. But it's whatever because Snapdragon gets the better modem and dev support.

Thanks. Are the improvements very noticeable or barely noticeable? Or somewhere in between? Been using my 6S Plus more than my Note lately due to performance and thinking of getting the smaller S7, or at least that's how I'm trying to justify this purchase.

I'm currently rocking a gold S6 and I loveeeeee the color of my phone. It's gold, but it's subtle and subdued.

The new gold S7/Edge look great, too, but this time around they're more reflective, which I'm not very keen on. A bit too much pizazz. Which is why I may opt for Silver. Silver is super reflective, too, though. =T

Black may be the way to go... but I dislike black phones. I want some color. It's a tough choice... heh.

Samsung really ****t it up for Europe. The silver is perfect actually.

Gorgeous.

I guess you still have 14 days to decide but do you see yourself sticking with it or still too early?

I will keep the S7 Edge. It offers a few upgrades i can't turn down. But will def get the Note 6 in the fall.
1) better faster camera and better low light.
2) Water proofing
3) SD Card is a bonus as I only had to get a 32GB and don't have to spring for the 64GB upgrade.
4) Battery life seems to be a lot better....but it is still early

I notice a definite speed difference from the N5. It feels more responsive to me. The differences are not night and day but they are noticeable. The big ones for me are battery life. That is the biggest motivator for me.

I am thinking the same, the darn 6S plus is great but it is too big. I already have the Edge + which is pretty big as well, I can sell it at my leisure as I would never trade it in to t-mobile and then get the S7 Edge or S7 JoD. The payments aren't cheap though.

If anyone wants to sell one of you old Galaxy S6/Edge/Note let me know, I may be interested if the price is good

That really sucks. Sorry to hear about that.

Region specific colors really blow. My sister is sad there is no white S7 regular in the US. She wants an S7, and her favorite one is the white one. =T
[doublepost=1456855163][/doublepost]Great look at the S7 Edge Gold: http://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-galaxy-s7-vs-nexus-6p-675860/

I'm genuinely torn between the Gold and Silver. I always loved gold phones. My first Blackberry was gold, too. And I love my gold S6. But the new gold is a bit too bronze-y. And both are too reflective. =T

Can't decide.

Personally I wish the kept the blue and green. I will be happy with silver but the blue was my fav last year

Do a lot of the apps work with the fingerprint sensor? Specifically financial ones? I like how TouchID is integrated into every bank app, mint.com, etc.

I don't believe there is a single banking app other than PayPal that allows you to login with a fingerprint on Android.

Which ones have you tried? Because the BofA app works great with the fingerprint scanner on the S6/Edge and Note 5 and now my S7/Edge. I know there are more but that is the one I personally have used on the phones I listed.

BofA app works great with fingerprint on my Note 5 as well. What I'm finding doesn't work well is Samsung pay on the old magnetic terminals, I always get an error on the terminal itself and end up having to take my debit card out.
[doublepost=1456859882][/doublepost]I must say I'm very impressed with the colors. The metallic colors are super nice and unique. In this day of brushed colors and every phone having the same exact gold/silver Samsung really differentiated themselves. The silver has a shiny, yet tough industrial naked metal look to it. The gold is really kind of a brass hued color which is quite unique. I'd say the only letdown is the brushed frame, on the silver it looks ok but on the gold it looks kind of bad and out of place. The black one is by far the nicest one, although the frame looks out of place on this one as well. Besides the frame my only gripe, of course, is the Samsung logo.

Kind of bored with my 6S Plus wondering if the S7 Edge will add any new excitement.
