Did Sammy offer the accessory coupon this time around? Also, was there any free stuff with apps like the last time?

That battery life is making me want to throw my S6 at the wall. I might list it for sale and see what happens, if I get an offer. S7 Edge here I come.

Great news about using my S7 Edge with the Gear VR. :D

I wore the Gear VR for 110 minutes, and not one overheating warning. I got suspicious and thought maybe they just got rid of the overheating warning, but for the whole 110 minutes everything played smooth. I would also occasionally feel the back on the phone, it felt warm, but not nowhere as hot as I experienced on the S6 Edge. I wanted to keep at it until I see that overheating warning, but I was getting tired.

On the S6 Edge, when you get the overheating warning, about 5-10 minutes later everything starts to stutter and lag. Almost no stutter or lag on the S7 Edge.

Also on the S7 Edge, everything ran much faster. Loading times on the S7 Edge were very quick compared to the S6 Edge.

S6 Edge .... anywhere from 20 - 35 minutes before the you get the overheating warning. Stutter/lag shortly after.
S7 Edge .... 110 minutes and no overheating message or any stutter/lag.

Battery ... I started at 82% and after 110 minutes, ended up with 46% left.

Also my first time playing Temple Run VR .... It's extremely fun, but hard. Made a MR post from the VR samsung browser. Watched a ton of 360 videos. Downloaded and played damn near everything that was free. Can't wait to claim the promotional 6 game bundle.

110 minutes is too short. Can you retest from 100% to depletion for overheating and battery life? =D

Others aren't so lucky:

Guessing glass backs are going to be an expensive fix this round to make them water resistant.
That has nothing to do with the screen and scratches though. I already had my Spigen case on my S7 as soon as I got it out of the box today. If that poor sod had planned ahead and had even a basic case on, he wouldn't have a broken phone right now.

Anyone have a Gear S2 (4G)?
I have the classic (non 4g version). Why?

I don't believe there is a single banking app other than PayPal that allows you to login with a fingerprint on Android.
USAA has fingerprint login for its app, but only if you are on Android 6.0.x

Saw the gold Galaxy S7 edge in the stores today but OMG I think I even like it more than black. Going to switch my order now.

$200 Verizon/Xfinity deal, maybe another $100 with Verizon and the S2 watch. I may jump over to Verizon. I was planning on giving Tmobile a chance, but had a Tmobile SIM laying around and tried and reception at my house is awful. One bar and Edge... EDGE!! That's pitiful, and I live in a very dense region close to highways and such.

I think overall VZW has better coverage than TMO. But in my area the coverage is pretty close to eachother. But then TMO offers music streaming that doesn't count towards your data. Then they have JoD which is awesome for phone switchers like me. BUT at the end of the day.....ya gotta have coverage!

Any recommendations for dry install screen protectors for the s7 edge? I want full coverage of course. Only finding wet install ones on Amazon. Those are usually too thick for my liking.

Would need one for the back of the phone too.

Greatly appreciate it.

Didn't charge my phone last night to test battery loss overnight. Last checked it at 10PM and then at 5AM and it lost 6%. I also got 10 emails and 3 texts and apps notifications during that time.

Here are the latest stats.

Wanted to see if someone knew if it was worth it on Tmobile.
