Ha ha. Yeah, that's a good point. Is he still rowing out to sea?I'd like to see what happened to Roberts bastard.

I must be one of the few who doesnt know who Ed Sheehan is ... I'm an old school country listener. Not until I read on line reviews of the show this morning did I learn who he was. So, who will Arya be when they ask her, or does she just slaughter them all; she did observe where their weapons were. I'm not sure I like the path the writers are taking her. She's become desensitized to killing, even in her path of vengeance.
Cersei has completely lost her moral compass. Even Jaime realizes that now.
The "flashbacks" experienced by Bran last season make me think that if Jon and Daenerys did get married, it would be more than convenienceI wonder whether Euron might be coming a cropper on that front.

I can't remember if they make a big deal about it on the show, but in the books it's repeatedly stated that the Targaryens preferred to interbreed. Even if no romance, they might make a marriage of convenience.
This is my hunch too. Kingslayers have a knack for killing kings, and his brother is already a kinslayer himself. He’s going to have to choose between Tyrion and Cersi in any event.I'm actually starting to think it would be great if it was Jaime that killed Cersei in the end
I agree. I’ve long though the song of ice/fire could have a few interpretations. Dragons vs white walkers seems likely... as does a dance between Dany and Jon.The "flashbacks" experienced by Bran last season make me think that if Jon and Daenerys did get married, it would be more than convenience
I would be okay with this. Cersei is one of my favorite characters.I still have this gut feeling the Cersei is going to end up on top after all the dust is settled. Remember in GOT the good guy doesn't always win. I know this is only fiction, but there's a saying never underestimate your opponent.
Jamie's brother isn't a king slayer. The old lady from high garden killed Joffrey. This is my hunch too. Kingslayers have a knack for killing kings, and his brother is already a kinslayer himself. He’s going to have to choose between Tyrion and Cersi in any event.

I don’t have a good theory for the ending yet. GRRM himself let drop
that the ending was, “bittersweet” which certainly means more deaths. This story has always been about the world at large rather than any individuals, so few (if any) need to survive to bring that story to a close.
As for Aria, I like how far she’s gone towards antihero. Curious if she’ll finish her list, or have to give it up in order to play some other role (by way of redemption).
Copy that. I absolutleyu hate having to wait 7 days between episodes. I'm dying here.Tyrion is a kinslayer (no g) for killing his father. Jamie a kingslayer. I’m guessing Jamie earns both titles by the end of this.
I thought this was a fantastic first episode of the season! Hahaha, Arya raining down the death and destruction
I also appreciate the little lighter moments, Tormund continuing to make goo-goo eyes at Brienne, Arya's little side with the soldiers (even with the semi-pointless Ed Sheeran cameo, though he's a big fan apparently).
We rewatched the last EP of S6 as kind of a setup, wow, Cersei is such a great, nasty character, Lena Headey always knocks it out of the park (some of her more restrained responses are a master class in less-is-more).
I was glad they didn't show anything - it leaves it open if he's really seeing visions [from the god of light], or subconsciously projecting, or just totally flipping out.
[doublepost=1500298865][/doublepost]BTW, I saw on the news this morning there were lots of complaints about outages with HBO, they specifically said HBONow, we were watching on HBOGo with *zero* issues, beautiful HD without a stutter. I'd assume the only difference in GO vs. NOW is the authentication/billing model, but maybe there are discrete infrastructures[?], or we just didn't have any issues (we actually started 10 minutes late).

I'm a bit surprised about all the supposed "uproar" about Ed Sheeran's appearance. He's done some acting, most recently with a recurring cast role on The Bastard Executioner even. Doesn't really seem to be all that strange, and certainly far from some "outrageous" thing that seems to be implicated in various places online and beyond.apparently Maisie Williams (Arya) is a big Ed Sheeran fan, so this was a little gift to her from the show runners.

I didn't get that feeling of suspension of belief. I guess some people have their brain jump to current pop culture events when they see the combination of a known singer singing, but I don't think that makes something outrageous somehow to the degree that some of the outcry about it seems to have been. The fact they had him singing caused a bit of a break in suspension of disbelief. Why make it so jarring?
I don't know about Jon Snow and Daenerys ending up as allies, for she said to her counsel that Jon will have to take a knee before her. I don't see Jon Snow ever doing that, but Daenerys has been wishy-washy in the past. I am starting to think now that Cersei might not end up on top, but I think she is going to throw a big monkey wrench into the plans to whoever that does. I think it would be kind of cool if Jame Lannister snuck in as the King after all the dust is settled. I think he would allow Jon Snow to rule the north (if he survives).I'm looking forward to seeing how the meet up with John and Daenerys goes, if they become allies it will be great Jorah will probably come back and may even be a big part in helping Daenerys! whether she will be on the Iron throne in the end i don't know. Who i want on the iron throne is Daenerys, who WILL be on the iron throne is a different story.
King Bronn, son of... you wouldn't know 'im. I like it.I'd prefer Bronn on that steel chair
Now that would require quite a few twist in the story.

Daenerys is clearly showing signs of obsession with the idea of being queen now that she's set foot on Dragonstone. She'll be killed off in the next one or two episodes I'm sure.
Jon Snow is the more rightful heir before Daenerys anyway as he is the older of the two cousins.
Game of Thrones hasn't really worked that way. It times the death of the good guys well in the sense it's unexpected. But it usually happens. He won't bend the knee but i think they will become ally's! Cersei is power mad i'm hoping Arya kill's her at some point.
I don't think she will be killed off in the next episode, i think if she is killed off it would be in the series finale but i'm hoping she isn't killed and that she ends up on the Iron Throne with Tyrion by her side, after all she is the mother of Dragons!

I won't be surprised if Samwell gets infected.I liked last night's episode - it moved several plot lines along nicely. The scene with Jorah and Samwell was interesting: at the rate he was going, it's going to take a long time to finish his work!
Good question, I thought Yara Greyjoy had run off with most of his ships, if I remember that correctly and where were those fireballs coming from?I had hoped Theon would find redemption last night, and kill his uncle and save the day. But he is utterly broken.
The timing also has me confused. They took every ship in the Greyjoy Armada. How did Euron manage to build up an even bigger fleet to overtake the original ships?
Not only is there nothing unusual about singing around the campfire, but if you're in the majority of the GoT audience who has no clue who the guy is, it was just another scene.
