On the other hand, it's probably not wise to risk a dragon every battle.
Ya, but my guess is she didn’t realize they were at risk until then.

Jon should have strangled him to death, or drowned him in the surf.It was interesting but I guess to be expected to see Tyrion show worry for his brother on the battlefield even though they were on opposite sides.
Bron had a really good episode. Awesome crossbow/catapult/dragon gun shooting.
I felt myself hoping that Jamie got there in time with that spear. Would have made sense to me. Take her and her dragon out which then leaves Jon to own the dragons and lead the armies.
Quite an edgy moment with Theon turned up on the beach.
Apparently no one did. Earlier in the season when discussing strategy, no one at Dragonstone considered the dragons' mortality. That was my thought from the beginning. Dany only has three of them and losing one is like losing a castle or a third of her army.Ya, but my guess is she didn’t realize they were at risk until then.
I don't understand this. The dragons have already demonstrated their vulnerability. Daenerys saw it first hand at the arena when she was about to be swarmed a few seasons ago, and the very fact that the Red Keep used to be adorned with the skulls of fallen dragons tells EVERYONE that they are not invincible.Apparently no one did. I have a theory on that dragon's destiny, I only read the first two books, so it's not based on the written material - it's actually based on an HBO promo poster
Care to share it with the rest of us?
Post it.Sure! I mean, I guess it's not a spoiler per se, I saw a promo poster that showed the Night King on what looked like a dragon (breathing ice). I was thinking if somehow the dragon falls to the army of the undead it might get zombified - which would be both badass and horrific.
FWIW, it looked like real promo material, I can just post it up here.
Hmmm, in a re-review it almost doesn't look like a dragon, it might be some other creature from the north[?]

I was surprised Dany still went to battle despite Jon's lecture. Then again it was the logical thing to do.
The Arya teleportation was surprising but i guess this season is all about moving swiftly.
Why is everyone claiming that people are teleporting all over Westeros? We have no idea how much time has passed between episodes or scenes within an episode.
Bran was straight savage to Meera.
Excellent episode. I have become a Jamie fan of sorts. His moral compass is really turning in many directions. After his meeting with Olenna and learning it was she, not Tyrion who poisoned Joffrey then holding back his anger, he didn't slaughter her the way Cersei would have. Jamie advising Tyrell to give warning first to the stragglers before whipping them and his words to Bronn just give me hope that he will meet with Tyrion and join them. Hey I can wish it lol.The final scene was amazing. For dragons yes, but also because we see the emotions roll off Tyrion as his former banner men die. I'm hoping for a Tyrion/Jamie face to face at some point too. Jamie's best trait is the genuine affection he has for his younger brother.
I was surprised that Sansa didn't say to Arya 'oh Bran is here, he's a bit mental now'Excellent episode. I have become a Jamie fan of sorts. His moral compass is really turning in many directions. Dany will be her own downfall if she insists on stroking her ego demanding her "bend the knee" crap. It's getting old. It's like the phrase, cutting your nose off to spite your face. Jon sees it and gently tries to guide her to acknowledge White walkers are their only enemies that count.
Littlefinger better make the best of the final days, Bran knows his game. Arya and Brianna's scene was pure gold. Sensa will have her hands full between Arya and Bran who no longer are the younger silly siblings she once knew.
Was surprised Cersei had the forethought to let Jamie bring the dragon killer weapon on his journey not knowing (or does she know ) if Dany had the ability to use her dragons in battle. I don't remember anyone in Westros actually seeing a dragon in flight. Great CGI battle and what an ending!
