Apple is the industry star, darling and target rolled into one.

Talking about Apple gets you global attention fast.

It's just a fact fewer people care about Samsung. I don't just mean gadget buyers either.

Samsung are probably cared about in South Korea and South east Asia. The fact that they are not an American company precludes them from that level of interest in America.

Ohhh that's right! Please tell me more!!!

What exactly is samesung copying with the note 3 and 4?

Who exactly is samesung copying with there own in house built amoled screens? Who else invented it and perfected it to become the best display in history?

Did apple make amoled screens? Did they then design a diamond matrix array and fine tune the number of colored sub pixels year after year to get it perfect like they have it now?

Ohhh samesung they are doomed!

Samesung have a time machine. Back in 2010 they used it to come to the year 2014 where they saw the iPhone 6 Plus. Upon returning to 2010 they copied what they had seen from the iPhone 6 Plus and developed and released the original galaxy note in 2011.

Samesung are very smart and cunning.

Did Apple even make the iPhone? I think it was Samsung that made some parts for it, and some other guys made other parts. Then some other guys assembled it.

And that minimal retro design was ripped from Dieter Rams by Ive?

It was rushed out in some markets because Samsung wanted to preempt the 6+.

shouldn't we at least wait to release to see if this is a real thing? maybe i stop by best buy and take one of my business cards and try to stick it in.

Try and bend it while you are there. Apparently that's the thing to do. Destroy demo units.

So what? Samsung phone parts are also made by someone else. Wifi chip, GPS, NFC Chips, etc...

Apple is system design company. Apple designed processor chips but they cannot manufacturer themselves, it's call fabless company. It's cheaper to outsource the part from other companies. Apple relied on Samsung to manufacture chips but for A8 processor both Samsung and TSMC make the chip.

Not really the same as apple asking samsung to build them a few million a8 chips

It must really hit a soft spot when the heart and soul of the iPhone is made by the company you people hate so much

Home button+apple, Multi touch screen with pinch zoom=apple, chamfered edge=apple, touchwiz=thats all Samesung(whew it sucks), stupid pen=1990 PDA, and on and on.

You have been enlightened and if you google you will see that samsung paid apple for its copies.
so in your POV Apple invented everything right? Like the now larger screen iphones.....that Apple copied from...well everyone else. How did it go in court for Apple with all those claims? Not so well huh. Most if not all of those claims have been thrown out.
So get your facts straight next time.
Oh BTW what did SJ have to say about copying?
Here it is for you....

Drawings are proof? Do you have a real working model of one of these?

Not me personally, however as it states they were in development, there will be prototypes out there along with all the other documentation that goes along with creating a phone.

YouTube: video

Have you actually watched that whole segment?

How he was referring to something like stealing the idea of fonts from books and typesetting and adding them to Apple products...How you take culture and ideas from things like art and history and add them to Apple products.

Given the time of that interview, I have doubts he was suggesting stealing from the likes of Commodore, Tandy and Atari ST.
