I'm sure this manufacturing flaw from Samsung is unlikely the make the front page, unlike the one last week that effected a whopping 9 iPhones though.

Cracks me up how Samsung fans on here are the first to pile on a non-issue, then get all BENT out of shape when people jump on their beloved company.

Samsung and Apple are far more similar than people realize. So are their crazed fans.

Just to be clear, everything I said in that post was tongue in cheek.....none of this is statistically relevant. None of it should be newsworthy. But the publicity the bending has received combined with Samsung jumping on it means this story will blow up.

Every time you get you try to put Samsung down in your posts.either about there screens or touchwiz or anything to do with Samsung and the way you even responded to this post with the 30k false gapped phones shows your biased against Samsung.

The devices at bestbuy do not have this issue, Korea received a rushed shipment which could be the reason for the defect...due to the many envious fans of Apple due to there bentgate issue, they are trying to make it bigger than what it is. This device won't be in the U.S. for over 2 weeks.....

Looks like a minor issue to me

How is this just a minor issue? I would be very upset if I opened my brand new phone to see a gap that big between the screen and metal casing. That could cause a lot of problems down the road.

Samsung is fully aware of this issue, it has only effected a limited number of devices and Samsung only had 30,000 units produced in this lot...it will be fixed before it gets to United States

Who exactly is samesung copying with there own in house built amoled screens? Who else invented it and perfected it to become the best display in history?

Did apple make amoled screens? Did they then design a diamond matrix array and fine tune the number of colored sub pixels year after year to get it perfect like they have it now?
