One UI 6.1 is a massive improvement from what it was and feels very smooth. Pixel UI is very good and smooth but one UI is full of features. Pixel is more basic for doing stuff on your device but thats fine too. one UI there's too many options to think about most of the time. The productivity and multitasking is really great.

Why Samsung feels the need the literally double up every single app type offered by Google is irritating, when I owned a Note that used to drive me mad.

It would definitely be nice to let the user decide which apps he wants on his phone and uninstall any others... It never bothered me having the double I would just never use any of the apps where I was using my Google apps.. I could simply hide them also from my list of use..

Hey I can finally take my temperature

Think this gets used maybe one more time

Same here but you should be able to uninstall them though.

Any idea why my Google feed (when swiping right from home) is bringing up this?!
I literally googled a hotel in Greece I saw on Instagram this morning, and now I've swiped over and I'm met with this?!

I've never seen this happen before...

New MINT Pixel ready to buy. Looks so good and finally a good colour for the regular P8!

FYI every time I tried to trade in a Google store exclusive phone color it was not eligible. Awesome color but I had a pixel 7a in the orange exclusive color and nobody would honor the trade in because it wasn’t a standard color.

That certainly can be an issue even with other brands "exclusive" colors.

But the way I see it a phone whether we like it or not is a personal extension of our personality. So choosing a color and design that pleases you is really important since you stare at the device for hours every day. Some will say they just stick it in a case anyway.

In my experience I still enjoy having a nice color even if a case is covering it up. I have had phones that I bought because I could only get it in a certain color because it was a special price and while I enjoyed the phone, the color always bothered me.

But everyone is different and weights different aspects if a phone differently.

Every time I have traded a phone in they never even ask the colour. They just ask what the model is and the storage size plus condition.
Also, this will be traded back to Google anyway come the 9 release, so I doubt they wouldn't accept their own phone back!

I bought the 8 on a whim a few weeks ago, based on the hype. Took it back less than a day later for a refund because it made me appreciate my 15 Plus so much more.

Thanks Google.
Buying anything on a whim is probably not a good idea?

Glad you made it back to the safety of iOS.

A day seems like a good amount of time to make a judgement on a phone kind of like making a decision on a whim.

One advertising or marketing call on an iPhone and any phone with a 60hz display would be an instant return for me. Quad HD, no thanks. But I think you made the right call for you.

Bro probably couldn't cope with the wonder that is 120hz and decent haptics so had to go back to safety. 🤣

I thought i could be fickle at times, but less than a day doesn’t seem enough time to try out the features and see if you like it.

No judgment tho, i have returned Samsung phones within the 14 day return window (UK returns policy) and stuck with my iPhone. Currently using the S24 Ultra, however i may return and try a Pixel if I can’t get on with it.

I’ve done that with iPhones in the past within the window, but not just after a day.
