This...it actually feels small compared to my S23U. It's by far the best feeling, easiest to hold/use big phone I've had.Haha ..I'm the opposite..it's the smallest 6.7 phone that I've owned .. especially with the thin cases .

I ordered a Google case for mine with the $10 discount code. I did like the Google case on my P7.Case collection so far:

I agree with this. I think it's the width too. It isn't slim by any means, but I think the thin profile with the less wide display vs other flagships make it feel really nice in the hand. The 7 Pro was the same IMO.This...it actually feels small compared to my S23U. It's by far the best feeling, easiest to hold/use big phone I've had.
No update for me, what's it look like? Also. WhatsApp has just updated on my 8 Pro and it looks great! Really love the new UI. 😄.
No iPhone update for it yet though which is odd as normally the iPhone users get it first!
Just stop looking to the other side of the fence and be happy with your 8 Pro 😆. I don't think you will find it worth it to lose the features, extra RAM, battery, telephoto lens, etcCurious those of you with the smaller Pixel 8, how do you like it overall?
I love it. I tried a Pixel 7 Pro, having been used to the iPhone Max series. The iPhone was manageable in a way the Pixel 7 Pro wasn't. In my pocket the iPhone was always comfortable, the 7 Pro dug into me when I sat down. I was always aware of it. I know the 8 Pro has more rounded corners but I still feel it's too large. The Pixel 8 is a lovely size. It sits in my hand or pocket really well and is only slightly larger than the iPhone 15 Pro (which I owned briefly before returning). The Pixel 8 display is hugely better than that of the Pixel 7 - it has no rainbow effect when viewed off-axis and is very bright and easily viewable outdoors in sunshine. I don't feel I am missing anything I'd need from the 8 Pro. I have been taking photographs for over 5 decades and on cameras have always preferred a prime wide-angle lens rather than a telephoto, and especially rather than a zoom. I find it more creative for me to move around rather than zooming in.Curious those of you with the smaller Pixel 8, how do you like it overall?

I genuinely don’t understand why Android developers refuse to properly incorporate a translucent navigation bar. It’s just laziness at this point. Do your job right.View attachment 2304275
Not the best image of it as doesn't include any real chats. This is just pulled from a website.
But it's much cleaner than the previous version.
Also just realized Android is the left, ios is right.
Android task bar also looks better at the bottom vs that ios screen grab IMO.
There is an option in the developer options 'Transparent navigation bar'. Is that the same thing?I genuinely don’t understand why Android developers refuse to properly incorporate a translucent navigation bar. It’s just laziness at this point. Do your job right.
The feature doesn’t work for me; I have it enabled. 🤷♀️There is an option in the developer options 'Transparent navigation bar'. Is that the same thing?
What I prefer is the Pixel 8 Pro because it has a bigger screen. "I like big phones and I can't deny it".What I prefer in the 8 Pro is the telephoto lense.
I agree and in my long winded post I added that too! What I prefer is the Pixel 8 Pro because it has a bigger screen. "I like big phones and I can't deny it".
Yeah, I agree, finding the P8;Pro one of the best balanced phones I've ever owned. Weight is superb, especially one-handed and my hands are only medium sized. The official Google silicone case allows the index finger to fall into a natural position resting just below the camera bar. Flat screen is exactly what the Pixel needed.I agree with this. The flat screen is just the 🍒 on top 👌🏼
