I didn't see it mentioned so doubtful it does, but does the Pixel 9 Pro line have a similar anti-reflective screen / matte display like the S24 Ultra?

Is it confirmed that the entire Pixel 9 line again has UFS 3.1 storage? Not cool at all if true.

I've heard that too, and if true that's a bummer. UFS 3.1 is kinda old now, and a flagship phone in 2024 should be using the 4.0 version, which is nearly double the performance of UFS 3.0/3.1.

I also read recently that the 16GB of RAM isn't really all for performance but that 4GB is solely dedicated to AI.

Right, UFS 3.1 isn't a deal-breaker and any performance difference doesn't impact me. But the power savings of UFS 4.0 in comparison would be nice to have. I assume the 4gb would be dedicated to on-device AI?

Agreed 3.1 isn't a deal breaker, no, but 4.0 is clearly better and faster by almost double. Sad Google cheapened out on that, like come on how much could it cost to go 4.0?

And yes 4GB of RAM is dedicated solely to the onboard AI.

Apple.....all companies do this to content creators. Unless the content creator is so big that they cannot afford to cut them out because of the public perception and backlash it will create.
Google partner did why couldn’t Apple ban Arun?
Anyway it’s getting out of topic, let’s leave it here. I’m not defending Apple it’s just blown out of proportion cause of that tweet.

Pre-ordered a 128gb 9 Pro XL in Hazel. Here's the breakdown on my deal:

$1,049 (found a $50 off link on reddit)
$699 trade in for my 8 Pro
$200 store credit for pre-ordering
$104.90 additional store credit for being a 2tb Google One subscriber (subscribed for one month to get the deal for $2.49, it's normally $9.99 but on sale)

No clue what I'm going to buy with over $300 credit but I'm sure I can think of something.

For anyone who might have a Samsung Galaxy S24+ hanging around and who wants a Pixel 9 Pro XL, BB is offering $999 trade-in value and a $200 BB e-gift card (better than Google Store credit IMO). Either that's a glitch, or Google really wants to incentivize switching away from Samsung.

Now if only the modem will be better - less 5G battery drain - than the 8 Pro's.

Yeah, not sure what I’ll use the $350 credit I get for preordering the Fold either. Likely going to test drive the Pixel Watch 3 45 mm. I wish they made a class of watch like the Apple Watch Ultra or Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra but at least I can make do with the new larger size.

I have my order preparing for shipping so we should see movement next week. Not sure what I'm going to do with my $200 store credit if maybe I add another pair of buds. Or just wait to use it for next year I believe we have a year to use the store credit?

Edit: found it 1 year for promotions
