God that reminds me of my Pixel 3XL battery struggles. Abysmal. I still have the 3XL but it’s not a phone I revisited over and over again like I did the Pixel 2.
Although I haven't had anything set in concrete, I have had little clues that the time may be near for rolling out the devices, I hope so.
somewhat off topic, but if I want to switch back and forth between the pixel and my 14PM which has an esim, is there any easy way to do this? Thanks.
I've not done it but I know a few here have switched between phones but what carrier are you using? I think that will make some difference as well
I only have experience with Tmobile and AT&T. TMobile still doesn't allow online esim changing. They had security issues and stopped it back in November. With AT&T it sometimes works but for some reason when I switch between iphone and Android devices I have to call them to get them to get it provisioned so that the hotspot and visual voicemail works and sometimes it just doesn't work at all and I end up having to call them anyways. I hate Apple for forcing esim when a seamless process for sim activation and swapping is not yet in place with the carriers.

There is no easy way to do it so far. As other have posted their experinces with TMO and AT&T. I have Verizon and it is like pulling teeth sometimes. I called to switch from my S23U to my 14PM and the lady tried to send me to tier 2 support because she was having issues. I hung up and dialed back in and got a different rep and it still took 5 minutes for some reason.
I call VZW to switch to my S23U and even tell them i have a sim card still in it from the last time. Some reps tell me I have to to the store and get a new sim card while others activate the existing sim.
I really just wish they would all get on the same process and iron all the kinks out. eSim was supposed to be so easy being digital and all. but this not a fun process so far.

On my Fold4, we have an option to make any app full screen.
Google doesn't include one in the settings? I know it's up to IG to fix their app to make it compatible but nothing to force it into full screen?
I don't believe so. Not a single review that I've read or watched has said this was an option.
I have a simple solution for now for Instagram when using it on the inside screen I will just open it paired with either Reddit or Twitter
Just received my pixel fold, moving everything over from my iphone 14 pro now, going to take a while! First time moving to android since the iphone 4s, wish me luck

congrats and looking forward to your thoughts ...I think this one is on IG...if I remember right this happens when you use IG on a iPad as well.
Dude it’s instagram they still don’t have a proper iPad app LOL. You also can’t expect all apps to optimized at launch for this form factor LOL. I mean it’s up to devs to code their apps correctly.

After watching the reviews, I could excuse everything but the battery life.
There is just no way that I could go back to 4 hours SOT, after having excellent battery life on the Fold 4.
Shame really because I want it more than ever. Hope everyone gets their devices soon

Yeah but you’re also forced to be with them for 3 years.
First impressions are that I love it, feels premium, all my photos and messages have moved across properly, just waiting on the apps and whatsapp now. A great experience so far and feels a step ahead compared to the iphoneWoohoocongrats and looking forward to your thoughts ...
Switch to visible they all you to switch esims right in the app and it takes like 2-3 minutes. Have done it multiple times.
