Obviously you're not a golfer.
mine has been sitting in Boston all day. this leads me to believe that unless it moves this evening from Boston (about an hour away) to my local sort center in RI (about 5 minutes away) then i will not be getting it delivered monday - every fedex i have ever gotten comes from my local sort center, not from Boston. i assume the move from boston to RI will happen monday, not tonight.

i cannot complain as tuesday would be within the 3 day express window and it would still be in my hands within a week of ordering a newly-released custom machine. not bad.

Mine is sitting in Newark, NJ. It's being delivered to NYC so I'm hoping I get it tomorrow. I'd be really disappointed if it's just been sitting in Newark for a day because they don't do any moving on sundays, and they have to do one more NYC-distribution step before bringing it to me.

...big ups to li'l rhodie. :) With luck, my mbp will have arrived just in time to accompany me back there for thanksgiving.

Ah ok.. I must have gotten confused reading the Applecare brochure at the store, what with the little red bar indicating 3 months. And then a longer red bar for 3 years. :eek:

1. Is that a glossy or matte screen?

2. Could you tell us what week it was built (By entering your serial number here: http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html )

3. Is that a 9C60 model screen? (To check, go to Sys Pref > Displays > Color > Open Profile and click the 13th row.)

If it's a matte screen and the uneven screen brightness issue has finally been eliminated, it's a big deal for the macbook pro community.

well, in an effort to prove that i know crap about fedex, they have my laptop on a truck for delivery today! sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. :D :D :D

and delivered!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now to just get out of work early....


i am pretty impressed that a newly released product, custom built on the other side of the world, only took 5 days and 19 hours from order to delivery.

Mine's on the truck for delivery. Now if only the FedEx guy would show up. :p Amazingly, I ordered 3 days before Shecky and yet we were delivered on the same day.
