Defect - take it to an Apple Store and make them replace it.
If mine has any when it comes in you'd better believe I'm making the trek to Nashville, and getting it fixed.
I don't see how this would work though, Apple considers a certain number of dead or stuck pixels to be acceptable - someone else can point out the exact number, but I'm positive they wouldn't consider 1 or 2 dead pixels total to be a defect (very few people have a no dead pixel policy; I think Asus or Acer lets you pay $200 extra for dead pixel insurance or something like that, but that's it).
