Then what are you doing on this thread? This thread is ALL about installing a kernel extension to use audio over HDMI on Mac.

I came on this thread to try to find help for the installation of the audio to the HDMI output of the Mac.
My NVidia card can not get out of the audio on the HDMI without your help .....

I am completely confused by your post then.

You posted that you were trying to get it to work using the Quadro 4000. Then your next post was

"MAC is up and running
Wouha !!!"

I assumed this meant that you were able to get it working.

Then when you responded to my post about there being an issue with 10.9.3+ and Nvidia cards not working you said this

"with The download link in the 1st post of the thread working for me. Song :
OSX 10.9.4"

I am confused by English and French are translated by Google
I'll make it short and avoid humor that gives confusion because

"MAC is up and running
Wouha! "

I wanted to say that the folks at Mac finally was run Nvidia card
I'm waiting for so long

I installed OSX 10.9.4 on 2 July
and it is the same with 10.9.3

No ideas to bring me your help?
PNY and NVIDIA are also without assistance :(
xavier.

I already told you there seems to be a problem with 10.9.3+ and Nvidia cards. Several people including myself had HDMI audio working on 10.9.2 but after the 10.9.3 update I cannot get it working. Good news is that it is working for me with 10.10 DP3 on my Mac Pro 1,1 using Chameleon. I have stopped trying with 10.9.4 because I will update to 10.10 in the fall anyways.

Excelent, thank you! Works great on 10.9.4 and 10.10 DP3!

EDIT: Spoke too soon and it doesn't appear to be working on DP3

HDMIAudio 1.0 now works in DP4 without kext-dev-mode=1.

Console / all messages filtered with "hdmi"
Code:
25/07/14 08:37:28,000 kernel[0]: HDMIAudio: Found 0x1002aaa0 on PXS1

Can anyone with the public beta confirm that?

Ouha luck ! HDMI AUDIO out !
officialy in September, Octobre...

I have not been using kext-dev-mode=1 since DP1 and have been using HDMI audio just fine. That was only needed when Chameleon hadn't been updated to r2380.

That's awesome!
Thank you for the script.
Worked on my Hackintosh: GA-H77N Wifi, Intel Xeon 1230 v2, HIS Radeon HD7870.

I was not registered with MacRumors previously.
And I deliberately register myself to be able to thank you on this.
It's my first post. :)

Works perfectly with GTX660 on 10.10 public beta.

any chance to adapt this to enable intel onboard HDMI to work too?

Still no update AUDIO HDMI with PNY NVidia 4000 Pro ....
I am in the starting blocks for "Yosémit"
xavier.

Thank you for bringing HDMI to my MacPro 2,1 Mavericks.:apple:

What video card are you using? I couldn't get HDMI audio with 10.9.3+. Using Clover I have no problem with it but using the Tiamo boot with Mavericks it stops working after updating to 10.9.3. It works great with clover and Yosemite but when I booted with Mikeboss' boot.efi (even with kext-dev-mode=1) it doesn't work.

It works for both my non Mac 5770 and 7970 dual x. Just tiamo mod and nothing more and on the latest update.

Ok so there is definitely and issue with Nvidia cards with 10.9.3+. Everyone who says it works is using an AMD card. I am using a non flashed GTX 570.

How are you powering the 7970?

I'm using both internal plugs with 6-8 pin cables. I was using an external psu at one point but removed it since my Mac Pro is for experimental use only. I've read plenty of nay sayers but have yet to see burnt or failed motherboard from using the two internal power supply. Are you using hdmi cables?

Yes I have a mini HDMI to HDMI cable. I'd be scared to run a dual 8 pin card but my Mac Pro is still my main machine. You probably won't see any issues with drawing too much power unless you are gaming. I game under Windows and my GPU regularly hit usage in the upper 90%. That's when it could cause power issues when it is trying to draw enough power for that.
