Does anyone know where I can find and buy the following Hermès bands?
- Fauve arenia Leather cuff
- Eperon d’Or/Marine Gala Leather
- Noir/Brique/Étain Swift Leather

I’ve tried eBay but most of the cuffs on there are fake.
Did you ever find any of these bands? I hate how the "LUX" group seems to buy up all the bands and then triple the price on ebay.

So my memory was that Apple/Hermes typically release fall/winter bands in Sept. and spring/summer bands in March-ish.

I was surprised last year that they released a winter band.

Will I like this seasons bands, I do find them rather colorful for fall/winter.

Anyone else willing to be if we'll see a winter release of bands this year?

Or will COVID strike again and make us wait until spring?

Sorry no I mean is the AOD mode specifically brighter?
Someone on the Apple Watch subreddit posted a side by side of the S5 AOD vs S6 AOD in direct sunlight. Unfortunately, there was not much of a difference, which was surprising because Apple claims something like 2.5x brighter for the AOD in sunlight for the S6.

They also used one the least colorful faces so I'm sure that didn't help.

Thanks for the heads-up. I’ve been avoiding the subreddit because it always disappoints with kinda irrelevant content. I actually see a difference with the s6...

Complete guess let’s say it’s even just 100 nits on the s5...that’s a jump to 250, not terrible.

You mean 1,000 daily posts of, "should I get the 40 or 44" doesn't interest you? :D

From the article: "The Arceau case is said to be inspired by Hermès’ history with producing equestrian riding equipment and saddles. The case has a unique way of playing with asymmetry by having a different lug design for the top and bottom of the watch. The inspiration according to Hermès are riding stirrups. The upper lugs are loop-style even though there is a traditional pin bar securing the strap. On the bottom part of the case the strap connects more directly to the case. Strap width is 21mm wide on both ends. The resulting look is one that provokes the eyes but does not offend one’s sense of good design given the balanced look. Hermès has used the Arceau case for a long time as it has consistently been a successful seller for the brand. "

Dang, they need to include a designer analysis of each model now. That's very interesting to read!

Of all the things I might want to change about the S5 I have to say AOD brightness isn’t one of them. I haven’t seen an S6 IRL so I might not know I wanted it until I do, but that was (just another) meh upgrade to me.

There is an even more radical change on the 40mm only I guess...
Even smaller lugs...

LOS ANGELES BABY!!
Still no change in my shipping of my SBSS 44mm Noir single tour. Expected 9/30 to 10/7

was really hoping for early delivery.

anyone else find that shipping dates for Hermes models is slower this year?? Even Hermès does not have the watches for immediate delivery as they have in the past. Apple’s website shows most models unavailable. I ordered on 9/15.

Yep, ordered the exact same for me and a double tour for my girlfriend at the same time, both initially the same delivery day. Double tour arrived on the 18th no problem and now Sept 30-Oct 5th for the SBSS Noir. No explanation for the change but here I wait along with you.
