Last year I sold my SS when I got my SB but I’m thinking I might use my SB for the sleep app since I got the SS again this year. I may end up selling it though. So we’ll see.

After seeing your photos, I have one word: EEEK!!!

When I saw your "assessment" that the Swift orange leather wouldn't lose much of its vibrance, I was all but decided on getting that band. But now that I see that chargerstore has orange bands with a space black fastener, I'm back to ambivalence!

I KNOW that the space black pin -- and its 2mm diameter size -- is all that can be seen openly. But damn, I will know it's a space black fastener!

OK ... back to arguing with myself!

Bear in mind the orange Swift has silver hardware - beauty is in the eye of the beholder so only you can say if the silver lugs on the black Watch will be OK with you.

Don’t worry, I been following this thread since the start and none of us should quit our day jobs to become hand models, myself included. 🤣

I love the SB SS. If I had unlimited money I’d get SBSS and SS every year.

You do realize Apple says it not for medical purposes just because they haven’t got the blood oxygen sensor FDA approved? They have to make that statement by law unless it was FDA approved and they simply write that statement to cover themselves from any potential lawsuit

Uh yeah. What’s your point? Without the FDA classification it should not be used as a medical device, period.

Agreed, the point is that the blood oxygen sensor might very well be highly advanced and as accurate as a stand-alone blood oxygen sensor but Apple still has to make the statement that it should not be used for medical purposes for legal reasons

Apple Watch shipment left Japan as of today. I don't think it'll be delivered by tomorrow - just like UPS estimated :(.

SB SS should come with a black Hermes sport band

The SBSS comes with the black Hermès sport band. Not the orange one.
 
Update on my shipment. SS with Navy single tour ordered September 15 with Apple estimating delivery (to San Diego) October 2-7. Watch shipped from China September 22. Estimated delivery date from UPS given as Monday the 28th. Arrived in Anchorage, AK five hours ago and the delivery date still says Monday. Maybe I'll get it tomorrow? Crossing my grubby little fingers...

ok. Now I will cry. Lol. Ugh. Maybe mine will be soon. I called Hermès today and they said there is a delay in getting the bands to Apple and in Apple producing the watches due to Covid. Who knows really.

well maybe there is hope mine will move to preparing to ship too!! Will let you know. But congrats!!!!!

That is just nuts how one week in they would remove the power block. It seems doubtful that soon after release someone went OOPS! and they scrambled to redo the packaging to omit it. I'm curious now how the packaging will be. Will the Hermes orange box and slip case be skinnier overall now? or will they still be the same as last year, and they only just remade the insert tray?

Maybe they just took it out and now everything is sloppy and moving about :)
