Last year I sold my SS when I got my SB but I’m thinking I might use my SB for the sleep app since I got the SS again this year. I may end up selling it though. So we’ll see.Mine is finally preparing for shipping. I hope it ships out in the next day or two, I'm hopeful I get it early.
Anyone keeping their S5 as a companion to the S6? I have the Hermes Space Black S5 and this time bought the Hermes S6 stainless. I really think I'm gonna keep both as something to switch back and forth with.
As for the Hermes sport band, I can also recommend the eBay guy, I’ve gotten a few for $115 and lucky to score one for $80 plus $14 UK shipping I shared with three other bands. Here’s one with a space black pin I posted earlier this week but I realized didn’t quite read as such because the silver pin is so reflective:

1000 (or 1Kay, take your pick ):
After seeing your photos, I have one word: EEEK!!!
When I saw your "assessment" that the Swift orange leather wouldn't lose much of its vibrance, I was all but decided on getting that band. But now that I see that chargerstore has orange bands with a space black fastener, I'm back to ambivalence!
I KNOW that the space black pin -- and its 2mm diameter size -- is all that can be seen openly. But damn, I will know it's a space black fastener!
OK ... back to arguing with myself!
Don’t worry, I been following this thread since the start and none of us should quit our day jobs to become hand models, myself included. ?Nah, just my fat wrists, need to work off that COVID quarantine weight ?

I love the SB SS. If I had unlimited money I’d get SBSS and SS every year.
You do realize Apple says it not for medical purposes just because they haven’t got the blood oxygen sensor FDA approved? They have to make that statement by law unless it was FDA approved and they simply write that statement to cover themselves from any potential lawsuitYou are mistaken if you think that the blood oxygen sensor on the Apple Watch can be used for anything medical. It in no way can do that and Apple explicitly states it is not to be used for medical purposes. Thats why I said it was a party trick because it isn’t medical accurate. I don’t disregard blood oxygen monitors themselves, just the one in the watch.
So yes, while O2 sensors are extremely valuable when you have FDA approved devices; they are not in the Apple Watch. And please don’t use the watch as a medical device for yourself, it wasn’t meant for that. You need to use a medically approved device.

- Ordered on the 20th September
- Apple online said expected delivery between 10-18th October
- Received order 24th September
Agreed, the point is that the blood oxygen sensor might very well be highly advanced and as accurate as a stand-alone blood oxygen sensor but Apple still has to make the statement that it should not be used for medical purposes for legal reasonsUh yeah. What’s your point? Without the FDA classification it should not be used as a medical device, period.
Are they not including the orange sport band anymore?Hey all from Oz ,

SB SS should come with a black Hermes sport bandAgreed, the point is that the blood oxygen sensor might very well be highly advanced and as accurate as a stand-alone blood oxygen sensor but Apple still has to make the statement that it should not be used for medical purposes for legal reasons

ok. Now I will cry. Lol. Ugh. Maybe mine will be soon. I called Hermès today and they said there is a delay in getting the bands to Apple and in Apple producing the watches due to Covid. Who knows really.
well maybe there is hope mine will move to preparing to ship too!! Will let you know. But congrats!!!!!
Maybe they just took it out and now everything is sloppy and moving aboutThat is just nuts how one week in they would remove the power block. It seems doubtful that soon after release someone went OOPS! and they scrambled to redo the packaging to omit it. I'm curious now how the packaging will be. Will the Hermes orange box and slip case be skinnier overall now? or will they still be the same as last year, and they only just remade the insert tray?
