I use Chinese bands just to harvest the parts. The leather is trash but I've found a company that has an Hermès style deployant clasp, on eBay. I don't like standard buckles as the daily use can strain the leather over time but deployants keep them looking fresh so they can actually age well instead of getting beat up. Much easier to put on too.Harvesting lugs from Hermes bands? Chinese apple bands? Do you rock any Chinese apple bands?
What tools and parts do we need to use a bracelet from Omega, Rolex, Seiko? Step 1: take stainless steel lugs off of an inexpensive band, Step 2? Step 3?I use Chinese bands just to harvest the parts. I do have some Chinese sports bands as I personally don't see the quality difference in silicone but besides that, I have two Hermès nylons and two leathers. I use an Omega Seamaster bracelet when I want the steel look.
very soft and comfortable for nylon. I was pleasantly surprised.Im about to buy a simple tour jumping color but need feedback about usability (sports? water? sleep?) and pictures of the new orange and lime ones. Any volunteer? ?
The main thing you need is an Apple Watch adapter. I see so many people stick with Apple Watch bands because they're proprietary but if you get an adapter, all of a sudden you have access to a whole collection of standard bands. All it does is add lugs to the Apple Watch so you can then treat it as any other watch. What tools and parts do we need to use a bracelet from Omega, Rolex, Seiko? I like them both, but the orange is special. I remember years ago seeing an Hermes non-Apple watch with an orange double-tour band. It was the first time I’d ever noticed a luxury watch before.Hi Folks, please advise.
I just scored something. It all of a sudden became available so I placed an order for the Hermes Single Tour 41 in orange. The quintessential Hermes color. It will be delivered middle of November which is just around the corner.
My question is, the gold color Single Tour is also available, but it's not as special as the orange color and I plan to get the Double Tour band separately (in Rouge H or if lucky Bleu Lin).
Which of these two colors would you go for? For reference, I'm pretty fashionable in daily wear and I want something unique and fun. But I can't help but think the gold will be more versatile, but I already have the Hermes gold Kelly bag and TBH, I hardly carry it because it's so ordinary. Also the gold reminds me of my Cartier Tank watch which I've had for 20 years. Help!!!
So this question is: which would you rather if you were in my shoes?

This is true to an extent. Orange is the Hermès color so if you're trying to stick out, that's the way to go. My thing is, I'm boring and want a more versatile color since I don't think orange would go with everything. I personally get the basics and then I branch out with more exciting things.I like them both, but the orange is special. All Hermès leather bands are made in France.Good question. We will never know as nowadays everything is from China.
This is favorite color for the new Hermes bands and one of the more unique offerings. I almost wish Hermes offered it without the design as well.Felt like a Biscuit today ….love how the screen changes to black with Biscuit colored number.
Again, not tight, angle of my wrist.
I’m torn between biscuit and rouge circuit HFelt like a Biscuit today ….love how the screen changes to black with Biscuit colored number.

For the iPhone yes, last couple of years..Apple Care Plus Theft? Is that something new from Apple?
I bought mine from Apple and it had the cellophane wrap.If you got your AW from Hermes.com, did it come "bow-tied" with Hermes ribbon, but no cellophane wrapping? Same thing if you bought it at a physical Hermes store? When I got the S4 at a physical Hermes store they put the package together on the spot. They took a box with the actual watch and took another box with the band I wanted and put those two boxes together in a bigger box, then they bow-tied it with a Hermes ribbon. Do they still do that? At that time I was a little taken aback with all the shuffling of boxes and that it wasn't sealed like typical Apple products.
I also just remembered that Apple said recently (last month?) that they will not cellophane seal their products anymore. But my S7 from Apple was sealed with cellophane wrapping. Was your AW from Apple.com or an Apple Store also sealed with cellophane?
I will be interested; can you share the link for the ad?I started collecting Hermes bands with series 5. I think I have 9 or 10 now as I am waiting for my Bleu Lin to show up. I do have one up for sale in the Marketplace with zero inquiries so far which is odd as it’s priced fairly for something i wore 2x. Guess it wasn’t popular when it was released. I do rotate the band every day from either Hermes leather, to sport band or loop, or braided. For the last week been wearing my new Circuit H bands because I really like them as they are different from what Hermes has released prior.
Yes I got my S6 Hermès last year directly from the Hermès store and they were not wrapped in plastic. She had a box for the watch and a box for the band and put it together into the overall box.If you got your AW from Hermes.com, did it come "bow-tied" with Hermes ribbon, but no cellophane wrapping? All the Hermes store watch boxes just say “with orange sport band” and then the band box has the name of the band…and then the Apple store watch boxes say the band name but then the band boxes have no sticker or identifying anything, right?Yes I got my S6 Hermès last year directly from the Hermès store and they were not wrapped in plastic. It’s what they do with all other products. I got an actual Hermès watch from them and it definitely wasn’t wrapped in any plastic.
