@GlambOne. I am not sure that matters regarding servicing the band. It might if you needed a replacement. Hermes may be able to recondition or repair the band. I am not sure what Apple’s position would be. You might have a stronger case with Apple if Hermes said the wear was abnormal.
Well as an interesting side bar, Jonny Ive shared that his favorite measuring tape is from Hermes.

That‘s funny. And if that isn’t an indictment to Jonny’s “function follows form” design philosophy, I don’t know what is.
If he had used a real measuring tape, maybe the Touch Bar MBPs with the butterfly keyboards and built-in hot plate cooktops could’ve been a little better.
I just put the silver lugs from an older Classic Buckle strap on the Jumping band because I don‘t like mis-matching lugs.
Same thing happen to me. This only happened to me after 3 weeks of use. I was able to take it back and get the nylon band and it's been mint since. Probably 4 months of use now.
Are the spring 2022 jumping straps longer? I just bought one and i needed to use one hole tighter. Hmm, maybe it’s not longer but that the locations of the holes are such that i needed to use a tighter hole. The jumping straps are softer than the old jumping.
I don't think you can punch holes in nylon bands, so I stayed away from jumping straps.
I haven’t measured yet but I definitely needed to use the next hole on my new one too.
Fantastic. I also have two kids. I just wipe it down with soap and water. I also am conscious not to get it dirty. Im going to grab another one eventually. There is zero wear and tear.
When I went to return the watch at Hermes, they said it was a common issue that the band would wear.
Did they offer to repair or replace it?
I think like a lot of other users who posted, I prefer the jumping band for every day activities and my leather bands for special occasions, meetings, events.
Anyone with the new watchOS beta know whether they’ve finally added vert veronese as a color option for the Hermes watch face? Weird that they have gris meyer, bleu lin, and cassis, but not vert veronese.
didn’t need to punch a new hole, just had to use a hole that’s further in and tighter. Normally with jumping, leather, sports band I’m on the middle hole, so I was surprised with the new jumping that I had to use a hole further in.
Yes, but I declined. if after three weeks it was going to wear like that it didn't make sense for me to keep it.
Lime is also still not an option and it kills me because my Kraft/Lime jumping is my favorite daily.
