The face called Hermes. When the new display launched in the autumn, Apple didn’t move the numerals out to the side and just added padding in the margins and many on here didn’t like it. If you haven’t noticed it, then that actually answers my question.
we started noticing here:
I had no frame of reference, as I only got my first Hermes Watch in April. My numerals are orange, with lots of black on all sides, beyond the numbers. Is this what you are talking about? I have two Hermes faces. One is black with orange numbers the other one is split color that rotates. Both have the issue. However, as I said, I have no idea what it was like at release. Hope this helps.
Yeah I think if you didn’t have the old bezel, you’re immune to the issue. I guess also never use the Contour face lol. It’ll prob be awhile until I get an S7 Hermes but I like the extra empty space, at least on Blanc. I can understand how it’s annoying on faces with a black background though.
If I recall correctly Circulaire was expanded out more to the edge, and obviously Circuit is full bleed by nature and Noir doesn’t have numerals.

@athousandbands. My first AW was a S4. Got a S4, S5, S6,S7 in SS or Ti. Traded them in to Apple or gave them to friends or family. I always wanted the Hermes, so I decided to get it in April. I am thinking of holding on to the Hermes for the full term of my AC+. That would be a first for me.
I love the bands. I have three Hermes leather bands and three Jumping bands. I always had skin rashes with Apple leather bands or Apple sport loops. Not with the Hermes bands so far. However, because of hand coordination issues, the buckle is a real challenge. Particularly the Jumping.
to be honest, i don‘t like the contour-face and do think the Hermes face wouldn’t look good with numerals closer to the edges.
If i recall correctly, the face was minimally changed, so there definitely was consideration how to move numerals (previously the „12“ would slide down for the notification icon, while now due to the added display space it doesnt have to anymore)
The only think I would like to see improved is the brightness of the Circulaire face and maybe some more customization for the Circuit H

The “12” moves down on my AW7 Hermès face when notification dot appears.
I’ve been wearing my Circuit H band lately and so keep it on the matching Circuit H face. Really love it, especially during hectic work days where I can’t be distracted by other complications.
I got used to that pretty quickly.
No, I didn‘t. In the long run, the relative dimness of the Hermès faces just bothered me too much.
I am Circulaire all the way. I loved it on S6 and love it even more on S7! If I’m not sporting it, I’m wearing the “Circuit 24” Noir. I could see the issue when it first came out on the S7, but I just don’t notice anymore for the few times I choose the actual Hermes face.

Is it OK to wear the swift leather band while exercising/sweating?
No. Liquid/moisture and leather do not mix.
And for general use, Hermes recommends rest periods for the leather, but you can still daily it if you want, you certainly paid for the privilege haha
OK. Several of the earlier posts in this thread suggest that swift can handle moisture well enough. I might just go for it as I can’t be bothered to switch bands for my runs.
Which is it? Is it the swift leather Hermes? I thought That only comes with black hardware for the SB Hermes?
You can get it in Attelage and deployment clasp with the silver hardware. This is the deployment. I don’t wear it often but I always fall in love again each time it goes on my watch!

I recently picked up the noir attelage with space black hardware for mine and it’s just a gorgeous combo. Do wish they had a space black deployment band/buckle at some point or another that I could combine it with, though. Miss the butterfly clasp from the link bracelet every time I go leather.
