Is your Hermes a silver? How does Noir/Gris look on it with the black hardware? I generally don’t like to mix metals with the lugs but feel like it could work with the black/white motif on that particular band.

My Hermes is a SSS 44 but I got Noir/Gris for my 40mm White Ceramic and the black lugs work because the band has the panda pattern.

I need to do black link bracelet on White Ceramic more but won’t do dark Milanese on it.

Really surprised that no new Hermes faces were announced. And add me to the list of those considering a regular SS next time around given how close that new face is to the Circulaire.

They would never release Hermes faces at WWDC without a new watch/bands to sell. Let’s just hope we don’t have to wait a year between Metropolitan and the next Hermes face, like with California (June 2019 unveil) and Circulaire (September 2020).

Yes I would say that's roughly accurate. I still think California's AOD is slightly brighter than the hands on the Blanc appearance for Circulaire. But Blanc is definitely as close to "normal" AOD brightness as you get on that face. Every other color option is dimmer in AOD.

Reading this thread I have just noticed this - changed my 'goto' circulaire face to Blanc and lol and behold I can see it in AOD. I thought it was just me getting older lol.

The main reason I didn't notice is that on my Stainless Steel (non Hermes) S5 I had AOD on and no wake on raise, but on the Hermes I had wake on raise until last week so it was always bright I suppose. I started thinking that maybe I needed an eye test.

Maybe somewhere on the road to making it look metallic (skeuomorphic?) they went way off the rails. On-purpose accident.

My S5 Hermes is listed as "plain" S5 on Apple site.
I need to check the batterry, and I am close to warranty end. Is this OK?

Did the Watch purchase have Apple Care? If so, the Watch has a proof of coverage statement which should say it is a Hermes model.

If there was no Apple Care, was the watch purchased from Apple? Did the Watch come in a Hermes AW box.

Something does not add up in my opinion.
