In any event if you want a repair you’ll need to send you watch back to Apple. They will send you a replacement. If you add AppleCare+ then they will send you an express replacement so you don’t have to be without a watch.

Replacement as in a temporary one until they fix my current watch?

Replacement as they send you a different watch to replace your defective one, but it’s a software issue so I’d wait a bit for Apple to fix the software.
I’m not aware of any common issues with watches restarting so it may be a lemon.

Here’s my deployment buckle on my wrist. I have to have it on the tightest loop. I’m a 6 foot 180 lbs dude so I’m not small, guess my wrists are. What do I do? Can hermes adjust the deployment buckle position?

Forgot to mention the reason for the picture was the placement of the deployment buckle and where it lies on my wrist

I've read a few people with the deployment buckle not very happy with the fit.

It's a great mechanism in principle but seems to be very restrictive of what size wrists it would fit.

I think that you would need a pretty big wrist so that the entire buckle sits under your wrist, directly opposite the watch above.

It’s just disappointing cause the website says it fits wrists 165mm or whatever it is. And that’s basically eighth where I’m at. Called hermes and they said my only option since I’ve synced it would be to call an hermes store and see if they could somehow make an exception. The location near me doesn’t have Apple Watch stuff so I have to call one out of state

Although this will be in their T&Cs I think it’s poor form on their part.

Most retailers accept returns with receipt, even if it’s just a credit note.

Why don’t you reset the Apple Watch and pretend it’s not been sync’d?

I guess they won’t unless they run some diagnostic tests, by which point you’ll be long gone.

I’m guessing the band and watch are as new with no visible marks?

I’ve already got Apple care with it...
[doublepost=1508159758][/doublepost]They are in perfect condition. The problem is I would have to send it in to hermes for exchange. They wouldn’t send me a new one until they looked over this one.

Sorry meant to reply to this. They said I have to return it through the online store. My denver hermes Store doesn’t carry anything Apple Watch related anyways. This is a pain because it was a graduation gift and I feel terrible it doesn’t fit right.

Update: hermes said they can’t do anything.

Have a call in to Apple and the nice rep said he was gonna call me back in a bit once he looks into it. If anything I would just like some sort of store credit to Apple to help facilitate the price of a new hermes band.

Well another option is does anyone want to switch bands? Lol

This is why I purchased mine from Apple as Hermès are rubbish for anything to do with the watches. I'd recommend anyone wait for delivery from Apple, rather than get a little too excited and buy from Hermès direct.

I hope Apple can help you, but not overly optimistic. Next time I'd purchased from Apple because there is a 14 days no questions asked return policy. I recommend selling the band on your own. You should get a good price if it is almost brand new condition.

Learned my lesson I guess. Where do you suggest I sell it? I can’t even find one listed on eBay.

I haven’t worn the band outside at all. It’s hasnt been on for more than 10-15 min max. Honestly even a $200 Apple credit or something just to help the cost of a new band. I would keep this one since it was a graduation gift from my mom and I feel terrible right now

I wouldn't worry about it. List it on the marketplace forum or eBay. The Deployment Buckle should be in high demand because it cannot be purchases without the watch..

Thanks. Just posted the whole watch. I’ll try posting the band itself too. What do you think my price should be? Also this website has a marketplace forum? I’m terrible at the stuff lol.

I’d post just the band and then buy whichever band you like (unless you’re looking for one of the new exclusive ones ). Selling the whole thing you’ll probably lose cash, just the band you may even get s premium.

Plus, this way you can tell your mom you kept the watch she gave you at graduation and just got a new strap. Im sentimental about things like that and it would Kill me not to use the gift my mom got me.

Thanks for the advice. For sure won’t sell the whole watch just trying to sell the band. It’s killing me too! That’s why I want to keep it forever it’s very sentimental

Awesome! Can you direct message on here or where do we go from here? We can talk details!! I really wish the band fit but my wrists are just too small I guess. I’ll be replacing it with the same exact band without the deployment.

Yes don't buy from Hermes direct just because Apple stores themselves have no stock. Their T&C here in Australia says you only exchange (not return) if you have removed the inner clear plastic wrapping the watch.

I let the hype get the better of me and bought from Hermes direct cos Apple won't have them for 3-4 weeks. Now I'm worried because my watch is randomly rebooting itself.

The stock levels at Apple Store are back to normal now anyway, all showing next day delivery.

Not sure what you mean but it would have to do with watchOS 4 instead of the watch itself?

The colour choices for the Hermes faces are:
- Red/Silver - White numbers, red hour and min hands, white second hand
- White/Silver - White numbers, white hour and min hands, red second hand
- White/Hermes Orange - Orange numbers, white hour and min hands, orange second hand
