If the Hermès exclusive Watch itself dies, hope they keep SBSS around and allow the faces to remain on all (or at least stainless) Watches. Wouldn’t have to mean the end of the bands, per Nike last year.

I was hoping to extend my Series 5 to a freshly redesigned Hermès Series X in 2024.
Then I digested recent chatter here and I was hoping to grab a Hermès Series 9 if we were entering the final year of Apple/Hermès.
And now the final year will terminate on Tuesday??

This forum says the same thing every year aboit the Hermes watches. I’ll believe it when I see it. There is no premium Apple Watch other than the Hermes. I sincerely doubt they will discontinue this partnership. For all we know Hermes may release bands with new leather. This is all speculation.
Really hope that this is the way they handle it. I bought the SBSS Series 8 last year just because of the color.
Jonny Ive was the one who started the partnership between Apple and Hermes. He felt it was important as it would position the Apple Watch as a premium product.
Now everyone has an Apple Watch and Jonny Ive hasn’t worked at Apple for over 4 years. The person who started this isn’t around to advocate for it anymore.
Hermes is leather. $100,000 Birkin bag is the leather dream. Apple saying no to leather is an insult to what Hermes is and rooted in.
I’ll be shocked if Apple (without Ive) really spent time developing a mushroom leather with Hermes lol

Maybe we’ll see a partnership with another premium watch brand like Rolex. Their bands are predominantly metal (metal being highly recyclable). And the rumor is that Apple’s metal link bracelet is out of stock and set to be discontinued.
Or maybe we get an all metal Hermes band.
Was in a Hermés store in NYC. Applewatch display case is still loaded with watches and Watch Bands

Probably not going to upgrade my iPhone this year (got a 14 pro that was replaced under AppleCare about 4 months ago) a S7 Hermes silver and a AW Ultra I bought again 4 months ago. Really got my eye on a black Hermes with a nice black leather strap

This forum says the same thing every year. ALL SPECULATION and nothing substantiated. Doesn’t matter who started the partnership since it continued after Ive left. Jobs started the iPhone and that continued after he passed. Time will tell we have a few more days until the event. Hermes makes more products for apple than just the bands. Everyone here likes to speculate and it’s never been by anything other than that. It would be disappointing if it’s discontinued but seeing that Tim Cook himself has been seen wearing Hermes Apple Watches prior to the Ultra, it would be sad to see the partnership go. Apple doing away with leather is about their bottom line, not the bs eco friendly spin.

Generally every year this place goes through the “Hermes cancelled” motions because they remove everything before putting out new releases, however this year there are like five other rumors that together paint a picture different from previous years and may have at least some truth. Perhaps everything goes on as is, unchanged. Perhaps the branded Watch itself will be gone but the faces and bands remain, like with Nike. Perhaps they try using different materials (least likely imho) or even perhaps the partnership is over.
Won’t know until Tuesday.
I can confirm - In the UK they were there this morning (as I was looking for an older Jumping), but now there is no mention of AW on their site.

Yup! And they still have up Apple Tech Accessories, including the Hermes AirTags.
The speculation over "The End" being imminent is certainly fueling my desire to purchase more than one strap this refresh (if there is one) -- maybe that is part of the marketing (cause it is working)!

Like others have mentioned, Apple Watch Hermès never gets more than 10 seconds of air time each year anyway with a quick flash of the new band collection.
If the partnership stays, I’d expect the same, unless they’re showing off some new high end leather replacements which would probably take maybe 15 seconds more.
That's great to hear. I had already decided that this was the year I'm getting the Hermès edition. I was worried, after learning that Apple appears to be moving away from leather, plus the fact that internal employees were being given enormous discounts on the current leather straps. Let's hope your Hermès SA had correct information regarding the new models!...

IDK, none if their listenings include original packaging. Seems like the Apple employee would include that. Seems sketch to me that it could be a knock off. Not sure a random store manager would be given advance knowledge of anything Apple does. There's never been a single leak about upcoming Hermes Apple Watch/bands and that's because the circle of knowledge is kept really small. Not saying it's over but for all the person knows, Hermes dropped Apple due to their changing stance on leather and is now partnering with Android watches. The expected shipment could be a truck of Android watches with Hermes bands. Even Hermes web master seems be given the files/listing info late into launch day as Hermes takes awhile to get the new products listed. That tells me Apple is likely withholding screenshots/product info even from the Hermes web master.
As others have stated, this has happened yearly in the days leading up to the event. The fact that the web master has removed the products is the best sign yet that the partnership will live for another year (but will we get our high quality leather or cheap nylon leather alternative?)
