The new Hermes Radial face isn’t limited to today’s color releases but the legacy color options are weirdly limited. Will post screengrabs once my phone updates. And yeah @MacDevil7334 you’re right It’s actually kinda bleh in situ. No color bleed, no colored numerals. Phoned in!

Edit: ok it’s a little better when you add the date complication for color pop.
The date helps a *little bit*. But it still seems like a not so great mashup of Circulaire and the original Hermes face. It’s not as useful as Circulaire and not as elegant (and doesn’t have as many color options) as the OG Hermes face.

Also there’s a “Canopée” color option for the Radial. Either this is an accent color on the Bridon bands that will get mentioned on the Hermes website like the third and fourth Casaque colors or is just the natural color of the entire Radial face?

Would it be impossible to give other typefaces the empty/filled in movement thing?

The removal of leather bands makes me so sad. When my current leather bands wear out, or become incompatible, I won't be buying another Apple Watch.

The fact that there's an expiry date on this now makes me question whether I want to be in the Apple ecosystem at all anymore.

That Apple event was so cultish and strange, it makes me feel a bit worried for the future of the company.

Hermes not making leather bands anymore is just so odd. They're a luxury leather brand, who wants rubber from them? I understand Apple's logic of becoming more eco-conscious, but this collaboration now just seems overpriced.
I completely agree. I'm surprised Hermès agreed to continue the partnership, based on Apple's militant stance on no more leather products. I still love the face options, including the new Radial version, but with no more premium hand-stitched leather straps... how is this still Hermès?

My guess is that Apple informed Hermes a few years ago, when they started offering the nylon bands. While it does seem odd that a company known for $25,000 leather handbags doesn’t offer a single leather watch band for the Apple Watch anymore, I guess Hermes still sees benefits to continuing the relationship. Note that, at least for now, there are no longer any Hermes AirTags for sale. Apple pulled the leather ones and Hermes does not have fabric replacements.

It’s all about infecting previously un-luxuried Apple customers with a lower-cost entree

You can still buy the hermes AirTags on the hermes website under tech accessories tho. that keeps me the hope that maybe hermes still sells leather goods for apple devices on their end, just as they just released the leather magsafe wallets.

I just order this combo and I didn't notice that the metal part of the band is noir,
What do you think? should I go with another band? I want the silver watch finish

AirTags were always available on the US Hermes site, before and after Hermes took down the Apple Watch.

I just ran to the Hermès store to buy the legacy of Hermès leather band that I always liked before they disappear forever.

Since Apple Watch Hermes is currently not on the Hermes website, I’m guessing the leather bands are down to just what’s left in the physical stores.
