Good call. I'll be on Oahu in a couple of weeks and will check both stores there for leather bands I've been meaning to snag. They always seem to have some leftover goodies.
Personally I don’t see any problems with mismatching lugs. The only person who’ll ever notice it is just yourself. If you like the band I reckon just go for it.
Interesting update, obviously hoping we'll see leather bands in the future too. Can't stand if the old bands become some kind of rare collectibles.
Gonna get it though, probably Noir Bridon which looks nice but also a bit unfitting – like some kind of hippie Etsy product. But anyway, old 44mm leather bands are perfectly compatible with this 45mm case, right?
And also, if you don't mind me borrowing this thread a bit (because this seems like the most suitable place to ask), has Hermes or any other luxury brand ever made Airpods Max cases? Having hard time finding a nice one.

Gucci made one, but not anymore. It was also kind of ugly, and wildly expensive.

Has anyone ever heard if Hermes changes the band lugs? to swap form space black to stainless steel color?
I really liked the Bleu de France and Cuivre colors , but im OCD that the lugs must match my stainless steel Apple Watch case.
I also loaded the new Hermes face. Maybe it's just me, but I don't find it classy nor exciting. I just find it kinda Blahhh. 🤷♂️ I'll be curious to see what others think of this year's Hermes face.
Seems that way now. The only change could be Hermès selling leather bands on its own website after the release/shipment of AWS9. But that could be a really big stretch.
Yeah there’s many things you could say it looks like but my Wonderlust-ravaged brain is going with: Who Wants to be a Millionaire dramatic lights circling the studio.
I like that you can have both the date and a separate widget (unlike the Classic face). I also like that the hour is highlighted.
I like it more once I have it matchy-matchy with this band but yeah it’s objectively very derivative and low effort. Especially compared to Solar Analog
All around this year, Kilim seems like the most “new” intersting band from Hermes. Seems like this is a general opinion here as well.
In past years it’s taken Hermes.com 12-24 hours to re-add the Apple Watch to their site. FYI

I actually sold my Ultra thinking they'd come out with a Space Black version, didn't buy an Ultra 2, but bought the Hermes Kilim in Orange because I really liked it. I will now have a band that matches the Ultra again but no watch.

Well I stand corrected! The bands don’t have to be sanctioned by Apple beyond the lugs!
