this 2 look so similar:
the Etoupe and Origin. The only difference I see is that the Etoupe has white stitches.

The only Hermes direct leather band I'm interested in is this one with the additional stitch and the two metal buttons.

Love this promo shot.

But the stitch seems to get very close to the holes of the band - Doubt they can add another hole for me :(

Now need to decide between this and the orange Kilim rubber band.

Darn it!
I totally love this band.
So sad it doesn't offer 41mm size.
The rest of my bands are 41mm

I’d consider upgrading from my S5 but from a S8 the proposition isn’t as compelling, but many people in this thread upgrade every year so I imagine the tradition will continue.

He’s rueful about the lost sales of Apple’s own retail channel but loving the extra 40usd price

To me he looks exactly how I imagine the typical luxury customer to be: bored to f*** already 5 minutes after getting the newest toy.

I quite like the new rubber band, but I have a SB Hermès. So no new Hermès bands for me. Don't get it why they don't offer at least one version for SB.

I completely agree. I'm surprised Hermès agreed to continue the partnership, based on Apple's militant stance on no more leather products. I still love the face options, including the new Radial version, but with no more premium hand-stitched leather straps... how is this still Hermès?
Same here. I think Apple and Hermes are bound to drift apart within a few years. Some of the bands look fine, don’t get me wrong, but this is becoming too un-Hermès and clearly not as luxury/premium looking, so I think it won’t make sense for them to keep going (I suspect Hermes are exploring other smartwatch or hybrid-smartwatch options, as other luxury brands and some Swiss watchmakers have been doing).

Thanks. On the german site I see some leather bands and even the double tour in the 45mm version, ok. So new colors for old bands. But no new bands unfortunately. :(

All this time they’ve yet to offer a deployment buckle in SBSS, perhaps spring or next fall they’ll finally do it if the band style sticks around.

@JanoschR: I mean the Hermès bands shown on Apples own website. Only one of these is available for my SB SS (45mm). :(

Yes, but they are all disappointing, I don't like any of them.

Bridon looks like something they made out of Grandma old socks. And Kilim looks like a cheap 3rd party band where they really wanted to integrate the deployment buckle somehow.

Question: Do any guys out there wear the double tour 45mm band? Curious as to how it looks.

See the news article today. Hermes is still selling leather bands for Apple Watch Series 9 on its website. They even have some new ones.

Couldn’t disagree more. We have more new band styles than we’ve ever had in a single launch. Most years we just get different colors of the swift single/double tour. This is a strong signal that they are not backing down and are committed.

Anything Hermes does is going to be high quality (not the biggest fan of the previous nylon bands but even those had quality).

I am considering replacing my S7 green aluminum with an Hermes Apple Watch. I also have an AW Ultra and a Series 6 SS Gold - I think I am keeping both of those models. Should I go with Silver or Black? It seems like there are more leather band options for silver

I’m in bit of a dilemma.

Ordered the 45mm orange Kilim but it’s rubber and I don’t think Hermès will add an extra hole in it for me.

Want this new studded Fauve from Hermès direct but there doesn’t seem to be enough room here for another hole between the last one and the white stitching.

Or do I go for the 41mm?

I have over 30 bands for the 45mm watch and intend on keeping the S7 45mm.

I strongly believe having Hermes in SSS41 and SSS45 is the only way to live for those that can wrist it.
