I wear my SBSS Hermes all the time with the silver lugs. Doesn’t bother me at all because I don’t care about it, I care about the beauty of the band not about the lugs which you can barely see anyways. I have been wearing it this way since they introduced SBSS into the Hermes lineup. I have had every Hermes Apple Watch since series 3
Yep. I specifically love the way the silver pops against the SB. When I first got mine I had all SB hardware and kept trying to accessorize with bracelets. Then I got a band with silver hardware and it was the exact pop I needed. I do still love the stealth of the black on black too.
Not a fan of this band, but I love Fauve Barenia calfskin. Just remember that you will get a patina on this type of leather. It will darken quickly and show signs of wear. Personally I love this look, but some people do not like seeing wear on their bands. Good luck with your purchase!
So on Apple’s USA website, all 45mm versions are still available for launch day except the twill jump navy/rouge h and orange/kaki, which are completely sold out. The twill jump gold/noir has a ship date of 10/27.

I've been looking for the same, but no luck. I have 16 hermes bands, and I keep them in their hermes boxes.

I am sure most of us are going to end up with more than one watch band for our AW, how do you intend to store your bands? Is there a tray like storage box available in the market? This tray should be small enough to fit on my bed side table.

Question for everyone who was disappointed that the main Hermes face didn’t go any wider when the S7 was unveiled…does Radial go far enough?
For me the numerals catch that edge where it bleeds into the artful glare of the waterfall edge and makes this face feel much newer than it actually is.

lol been wearing my Hermes most of the day and just put on my Ultra (went for a walk and it has cellular activated). Come back seen your pics and I now have my Hermes back on. I love that face so much and it is edge to edge. It feels like a new watch on OS10 and that face
Yeah, that is a good point. Maybe the first Hermès face that looks „native“ to S7-9. Although I like the wrist down version better than the wrist up one.

It wouldn’t work with clipper or espace, but they could def do the light/color-in effect with Carrick. Or—gasp—introduce a new typeface?!

Can the color of the numbers on the Radial face be changed to orange or are you stuck with white?
Yep just white. The fill-in effect would look weird with orange I think. And fwiw it’s a much warmer white like the Blanc face option.
Nope. But you kinda see what they’re going for. The background is space and the creamy numerals are kinda planets being lit by the sun two at a time?
That’s what I mean by fill-in, inside the numerals. If it was just 1 and a half numerals filled in with orange and then orange numerals will hollow centers it would be jank.
At some point I’ll gladly mock up some other ways they could have done it just to see
Question for the experts here 😉, is the Toile band going to be more cotton/canvas like, rather than the Twill nylon band? (I owned a couple old school nato bands years ago, but that nylon trapped sweat and water underneath the band. Took forever to dry out. Just hoping at least the toile is different, but maybe H mastered that in the Twill too. Although I don’t know if wet canvas will feel great against skin either. And here I am considering that chunky knit double tour 🙄 😂 )
