Orange Kilim arrived. I am still on the fence about it - it is undoubtedly quality, but not so comfortable as I am between 2 holes. My first deployment band, any tips?

I have the same problem with the Hermes Deployment bands. They don’t fit my wrist perfectly. It’s either slightly too loose or too tight. I’d probably return unless you can wear it (tight) and it should stretch a little over time - I’ve experienced that with all the rubber sports straps I’ve had. Good luck!

Same. Every Hermes band I have including deployment. Third hole is a tad loose, 2nd is too tight. It is what it is.

@BillGates1969 I guess it whether it's comfortable - I typically find that none of my bands (except Milanese) are not quite right but as long as it's uncomfortable, I am OK with it.

Only you can decide if the trade-off (looks/quality vs fit) is worth it.

It’s growing on me I suppose. Just walked the dog and it is comfortable now and my arm seems to have settled into it.

I like the look and it does seem like a daily driver. Definitely a step up from the sports band, but doesn’t feel as premium to me as the Toile H I just bought.

Thank you for sharing! Navy and orange pull it off pretty well…combining two different colors does also seem like a “Hermes” style thing to do. I think you should be able to mix up this combo fairly frequently to spice things up in terms of color for sure!

NSFW Gratuitous Wrist Shot!

Marks left by the Kilim band, I am willing to accept these :)

Looks as uncomfortable as it felt on me. Personally I couldn’t handle the digging into my wrist with this band so I ultimately returned it. I liked the band, but at the end of the day it’s cheap rubber and uncomfortable so it was an easy choice for me. Good luck!

Kilim Orange back in stock in the US Apple Store if anyone was interested and missed it…looks like mid-nov delivery. Just FYI.

Still enjoying wearing it on the daily since I got it!

Ugh—I had it in my bag for Friday delivery, got distracted and it slipped to November. Maybe I just pull the trigger and pray the timing slips to a sooner one? How much of a possibility do we think that may be?

Update: it’s also available for shipping on Hermès site. They usually ship in days with 2 day delivery via FedEx to NYC.

I really love the new Hermes watchface.
Except the music icon, it really bugs me that the icon isn't locate at the center of the screen.
Call me crazy, but I kind of like it. It's a bit quirky, and beats the alternative of shrinking the face down to accommodate the icons at 12. However, I do think Apple should offer an option to hide the icon if you want, and move it to the Notification Centre or something.

I did not order the orange but I ordered the others from Apple. All are arriving much sooner than the original dates.

I couldn’t disagree more about the rubber being cheap. I find it premium as hell, super comfortable, and daily driver versatile (not that I ever would, but you could wear it through a 5k run, pool laps, shower, and a business casual sport coat/open collar dinner without ever taking it off).

It’s also Swiss made, so comparing the Kilim to Apple’s China sport bands/solo loops isn’t even in the same universe. I have a factory rubber band on my Tag and the Hermes Kilim quality is just as good, maybe even a bit better.

Mine has easily become my daily driver without even realizing it, as you can see from my log book from the past two months. I went from band swapping with my collection almost daily to realizing “yeah, the Kilim will be perfect for today”.

Just my opinion, of course. And I know the Kilim isn’t for everyone. I’m also home sick, so my Nike black/pure platinum sport loop is providing the comfort for today.

Kilim might not be for everyone, but seems like nothing is good enough for some

It’s actually very comfortable - every watch I have worn (including a nice Omega) has left some form of light marking.

It doesn’t feel too tight and it’s not so loose that it falls down my wrist, unlike your typical Rolex-wearer who thinks that’s “style”.

It’s certainly not cheap rubber - others have commented about the holes being made at an angle to perfectly suit the pin. That’s not a level of detail you see in something cheap or poorly-designed.

Clearly it’s not for you, which is fair enough. Me, I like it so much I bought two Kilim bands.

I personally don’t understand this forum
Member drew he constantly puts down everything Hermes and is kinda passive
Aggressive in posts saying how terrible the Kilim band is and then tells people good luck enjoy it. I am not a fan of the twile bands but i would never constantly bash them. It’s called to each its own and
Kilim might not be for everyone, but seems like nothing is good enough for some
omg. You read my mind. Drew constantly bashes them and I was think exactly what you posted. Thank you!!!! So tired of seeing the Kilim bashed when from what I can remember he’s the only member that doesn’t like it.

After a day with the Kilim I am keeping it. It is comfortable and I like the fact that I am not worried about the band every time I wash my hands, cook or do anything.

The rubber does feel premium compared to the sports straps IMO and the deployment clasp is great.

Is it £300 great? Probably not, but we can all treat ourselves once in a while to things.
