Hermès Edition Owners Thread

I know it’s not all about money and mathematics, but… it is a bit?

For me an expensive thing is worth it if it gives me joy every time I use it. I used to collect Montblanc pens and literally every time I picked one up I fell in love with it all over again.

For me, the Kilim is like that. I love how it looks, I love how easy it is to put on and take off. It feels premium, even if I don’t agree with others on the comfort level, though I continue to grow used to it.

I bought mine as a little gift to myself because, well, sometimes you have to treat yourself 😁

Controversially, I didn’t really feel like that about my leather deployment. It was … fine. But I didn’t love it. I appreciated the quality. I’m still pondering selling it. I’m all Kilim all the time now. And the Hermes Sport is trash by comparison.

Any of you guys switch back and forth from the Hermes watch to the Ultra? I do it often and it's always so nice to put the Hermes back on.

Absolutely. All of a sudden I miss the Hermès dials. To feel it "like Hermès", I also use the Hermès leather bands on the Ultra.

Meanwhile I am over here checking the Apple Store daily for the 41mm Toile H in gold/ecru and wondering why it’s not in stock…

I know it was available the other day through Hermès but I’d rather go through Apple for the 3% cashback on the Apple Card.

I probably shouldn’t buy another Hermès band… my wallet can only take so much.

I use these 3D printed trays which I had customised by the seller I purchased them from on Etsy. I absolutely love them, as they show off the bands nicely, while being much more space efficient than having them laid flat.

Is there a chance to pay for one you'll print for me? I have no printer or knowledge of how to do this.

I purchased them printed, but the seller, Ben, has published the base model on Printables. I had my version customised to have more slots, deeper slots to accommodate the Hermès buckle and Apple Link Bracelet, and a custom width. His Etsy store is here.

Got my orange single tour 45mm S9. Love the look so far. However,

1. With the leather strap, even using the smallest hole, I feel the band is too loose. How can I add a few holes? Will Hermes store punch holes for me?
2. With the included orange Hermes Sport band, it only comes with the M/L strap. I need S/M. Is still possible to get the 45mm S/M Hermes orange sport band?

The sport band that came with my 44mm S5 Titanium AW Edition has both S/M and M/L straps. I didn't know Apple has ditched the S/M sport band from 44/45mm models until now...

The alternative lengths from Chargerstore were officially produced but never sold at retail, probably at the behest of Hermès; large watch only for large wrists, pink bands only for small wrists, and so on with their quirks.

This is the exact band I selected when ordering my first Hermès Apple Watch last week, which should arrive in a few more days! (I’m not in the USA though)

I’m actually planning on selling the band because I only want the Hermès watch for the Space Black case and the Hermès faces (is this heresy in this thread? 😄).

Ah that is quite annoying. For my wrist size, the M/L strap is totally useless. Has anyone had success making additional holes on the sport bands?
