I have noticed the same in recent weeks and it’s wild to see.

I’d love to know the conversations going on right now with Apple/Hermès regarding the Kilim line. For the very public way Apple transitioned away from leather, I’m wondering if they (or Hermès) ever anticipated the Kilim being this popular. Do they cash in and pump more out?

Part of me guesses (emphasis on my uneducated, not-in-the-know thinking) they did five colors initially to see how successful they were going to be, and I would imagine we’ll see more colors in the Kilim line down the road.

By the way, almost three months in with my Kilim Noir and still loving it. I’ve been wearing it almost every day since I got it, just gave it a gentle scrub bath last week, and still looks brand new. It’s the ultimate versatile daily go-to.
They’re starting to really tempt me as the post-holiday yoinks surface amid the people price-gouging. There’s an orange 41 on mercari rn. I know the shade is different to the sport band but we’re close-ish to spring…

And perhaps the supply chain with Switzerland was taken aback. Especially if Hermes has never really done a big run of Swiss bands

It took three months, but Apple finally got stock of the 45mm Navy/Rouge H Twill Jump earlier this week and I pulled the trigger (looks like it has already gone out of stock again). It is not among the flashiest bands this season but it is simple and beautiful. Only have indoor shots right now since the band arrived after dark.

Here is a comparison with Bleu Saphir/Rouge Sellier and the Rouge de Coeur/Rouge H Jumpings. The Twill Jump seems to be slightly more narrow than the Jumpings. For colors, the Navy is (unsurprisingly) more muted than Bleu Saphir. The Rouge H shade appears to be identical between the two bands that have it. This band will probably replace the Saphir/Rouge Jumping in my collection. I never felt like the H vibration pattern worked well on that band.

I still want the rouge sellier, even though it’s so different than its siblings. (Wink wink nudge nudge)

Love your new arrival, United States look, but in a good way. You could see it on a Paris 2024 athlete

It’s funny, I was also thinking the band looked like something from an Olympic collection. It does remind me of something that would be worn during the opening ceremonies.

I don’t wanna say Ralph Lauren because their USA collection for the ceremonies is so often garish but…
Hahahaha I had the same thought. Honestly the Navy and the Rouge H are so muted that the band stops just short of giving off red/white/blue vibes. The iPhone brightens and saturates the colors more than they appear in real life. The navy looks nearly black in indoor lighting.

Ebene is a special color, I semi-regret settling for one with some scratches/blemishes, so I’d love to see you snap the hell out of a mint one. Has some very tasteful tan stitching.

Well I was able to get a brand new Hermes series 8 with the brand new band as well (great price as well) ..it is a beauty that band, however my big ol wrist aint made for deployments as it does not fit one bit lol

Hello, I am selling the Hermes H Diagonal Single Tour watch band that came with my SB Hermes AppleWatch series 8, and it's the Gris Meyer color. If anyone is looking for that one, it has seen very little use. If any of you are interested just PM me. I'm open to trade as well. I just don't wear this one.

Is it alright to put this out here on this forum? Thanks!

Thanks. EDIT: I just looked and have only 186 messages so apparently don't qualify to post there. I've been around these threads for years but I guess I'm slacking lol.

Question for anyone who has bought an s9 watch…what is this white recyclable sleeve for? Sport band? Kilim?

View attachment 2335418
Haven’t bought a S9 but my Twill Jump came in one of those. I think it replaces the microsuede sleeve for any band purchased through Apple (and maybe non-leather bands purchased through Hermes?). I assume the sport band is packaged as it has been since the S4.

Ok yeah it has “Hermes woven” on the documentation in it, duh.

So the felt sleeve my gold/ecru came in was the work of the eBay seller and from a leather band or s8 or older woven.

A few other observations on the Twill Jump after wearing it for a bit.
  • It is definitely more supple than even later Jumping bands (and much more supple than the earlier Jumpings). I think the band is also slightly thinner.
  • The Twill Jump is narrower at the lugs by about a mm compared to the Jumping bands. This might be a function of not having the diagonal line pattern woven in around the lugs on the Twill. The result is the band doesn't span the whole lug bar and can slide around a little during wear. It hasn't been a big enough issue that I have minded so far, but I wish it was the same width as the Jumping bands. This also makes the band appear almost too narrow for the S7-9 watch face. It's not quite there, but it's on the border. The width of the strap at the clasp is the same as the Jumpings.
  • The Twill Jump has the same number of holes as the Jumping single tours. HOWEVER, the holes are moved up one space smaller on the Twill and are a much closer match to how the holes are punched on the leather bands. If you are someone who wears leather on the smallest hole and couldn't wear the Jumping bands because they were too big, you should be fine with the Twill Jump bands.
