iPhone How are people enjoying dark mode

Just curious, if you go to settings and then Gmail, is your location services setting for gmail stuck on Ask? I set mine to Never but as soon as I back out of the options, it reverts to Ask.

Mine is the same, reverts to Ask when I back out.

I'm using it more for the better battery, rather than looks. The 'Light' theme is the classic Apple one, that I've always liked.

I find it more difficult to use in dark mode. Some lines/borders are too hard to see. Apps like Maps is very difficult to see. Just switched to light mode again which I find just more elegant and detailed over all.

I love having it on auto, white when it's bright out and black when it's night...

one issue I'm having is I have dark mode set to automatic with sunrise/sunset... but for some reason, dark mode turns on about an hour before sunset and sometimes light mode comes on before sunrise. I have location turned for most system apps / services. any idea why my phone is doing this? I've toggled the different settings and then back to sunrise/sunset but still doesn't turn on a the right time. using a 11 pro btw.

Like most, I have it set on auto. I definitely like the dark appearance at night, but I'm still holding out hope that other app devs add dark mode support in the coming months.

Did you mean an icon on the control center? It's available now.
