iPod How many iPods do you own?

I have owned 3 ipods but I think the ipod is only going to be around maybe 5 more years or less , I love the ipod but they are being replaced by phones more and more everyday . Most people dont want a seperate device for music these days .
 
-1st gen iPod Shuffle(Still one of my favs)
-4th gen iPod Shuffle
-5th gen iPod Nano
-6th gen iPod Nano(Daily Driver)
-4th gen iPod Touch
-160 gb iPod Classic
 
I have two 160 classics (latest gen). My first one lasted a while with extremely heavy use but then I think the HD started really acting up so I bought a new one. I still may upgrade the 1st one's HD and battery to have as a backup or gift to a relative.

I have a 30GB iPod Photo. I barely used it in all the time I've owned it. It still holds a charge and works. I bought it and just didn't get into like I thought I would.

I then bought a 160GB Classic and that changed everything. I eventually sold it and bought one of the thinner 160GB Classics two years ago. Still use it everyday.

I also have one of the 16GB Nanos, 6th generation. It's just too small so I really never used it. It's collecting dust somewhere around here.
 
Just an old 160GB iPod. Have gone through quite a few Nanos, but the extra storage space for the old Classic always had me coming back.

When this dies I will be sad.
 
Loads. Ipod nano 1st gen, ipod shuffle 1st and 2nd gen, ipod photo 4th gen and latest ipod classic 6th gen.

I now own 9, but I have had two more that I replaced with ones I currently have.

- iPod shuffle 1st generation (white)
- iPod shuffle 4th generation (orange)
- iPod nano 6th generation (silver)
- 2 iPod nano 4th generations (green and purple)
- iPod touch 4th generation (black)
- 2 iPod photo fourth generations (white)


I also have previously owned:

- iPod nano 1st generation (black)
- iPod touch 2nd generation (black)

3 right now.

1 64gb iPod touch 4th generation for my car
1 8gb nano 6th gen for gym
1 phone 6 16 hb I don't really use for music.

I've owned
3rd gen nano 4gb sold on eBay years ago
4th gen nano 8gb sold on eBay years ago
iPod classic 5th gen 80gb sold on eBay too. Was my original car ipod
iPod touch 3rd gen 64gb was my car iPod but I bought it from a teen who scammed me and it eventually it died.
iPhone 1st gen 8gb.
 
My first was a 1GB iPod shuffle that I bought in April 2005.

My second was a 32GB iPod touch that I bought in July 2008.

And my third is a 4GB iPod mini that I was given by a friend. He'd left it in a drawer for the last nine years, so it's in perfect condition.

The mini is my first iPod with a Click Wheel, I'd never actually used one before. That method of navigating music, plus the black & white display and the noise of the spinning hard drive, make it my "Funnest iPod Ever".

Since writing this, i've gotten 3 new Apple devices. 8GB iPhone 4S, 120GB iPod Classic, and an 8GB 2nd gen touch :)
 
Now that this thread is revived.... I actually bought most of them last year:
All 7 gens of iPod Nano, the last one in 2 colors. That's 8.
Ipod 4, 5 and 7 gen. That's 3.
iPod shuffle 2, 3 and 4 gen, counting 2 colors of the last two gens. That's 5.
1 iPod Touch 4 gen.
iPhone 3gs, 4, 4s and 5 that I use as just iPods.

So I have 17 iPods, 21 if I count the iPhones that I don't use as phones anymore.

32GB blue iPod mini (CF mod) - My main iPod for music and podcasts
10GB iPod 3rd gen - I honestly keep this guy around because it looks so darn cool!
80GB iPod classic - This iPod lives on an iHome on my desk for music at home.
8GB iPod nano 6G - This is a wonderful iPod for running with the dog.
32GB iPhone 5 - My phone, but also used for music in the car.
