See my two answers above. Yes HP, Amazon and a few other have been blocked in a silent malware update from Apple. There is speculation that the certificate is out of date on the HP software or has been revoked.Sorry double post. Is this only affecting HP printers? My printer (CP3525dn) is no longer supported by HP and it may be time to upgrade to a model that supports wireless. I don't want to get a new printer and end up in the same spot....
However I have just finished downloading the following update for my 4025 and this has worked!
hp-printer-essentials-S-5_14_8_4.pkg this has a 2025 certificate attached so should be good for a while

...I finished before ending my post...
...several folks that had the same issues with printing to HP printers. They were working on a update, and I did not have to upgrade to Catalina because this was also causing the same problems
We have exactly the same printer and it is now working using that update. Did you re-install the printer as well as installing the update?Hi there, I downloaded EasyAdmin but my printer is not supported to get new software to download...
Well, I assume that I have to install this, remove my installed printer and then install it againThe update above will work for your printer and with Catalina. This is not a catalina problem
How did you find this software? It worked for me!However I have just finished downloading the following update for my 4025 and this has worked!

install the update mentioned above. Did you bother to read the thread!I have the same problem with my Officejet J4680.
There is a fix for many people. Read the thread.Same issue here (HP envy 5540). Hope Hp resolve this issue fast, as the pop-up is incredibly annoying - and it keeps showing on... I'll have to remove all HP software...
I spent a while with Apple Support, Something this morning (10/23/20) broke the HP printing drivers framework on Catalina OS 10.15.7. They have received many calls with different items related to HP informing it will damage your computer, My printer does not print. I have a Laserjet 4200 with all kinds of options (envelop feeder, etc.) It is a vicious circle - Apple says to call HP as they need to provide the drivers, I have not been able to speak to anyone at HP that can help.
The errors are like this:
"hpPostProcessing.bundle" Will damage your computer. Report Malware to Apple
others with the same error
"ProductImprovementStudy.hptask"
ScanEventHandler.app"
"HPDeviceMonitoring.framework"
"FaxArchive.task"
This seems to be affecting many older HP printer of multiple series.
Anyone else? Anyone had found a workaround.
We have many Laserjets of the 4100, 4200 & 4300 series. They are workhorses. I can'r believe they will just brake them....
Do you know if Mac is likely to fix this and restore compatability? My HP Photosmart B110 printer/scanner was working perfectly two days ago until I upgraded to 10.15.7 Now nothing works at all. The printer is a bit old so is it now obsolete? Is there anyone at Mac to contact?I spent a while with Apple Support, Something this morning (10/23/20) broke the HP printing drivers framework on Catalina OS 10.15.7.
