Well apparently Apple will be INCREASING the iPhone price next year, despite the majority refusing to pay a thousand dollars or pounds etc for one! It’s because Apple will move production from China and as we know Apple refuses to reduce its huge mark up and profit margins..
So if they don’t make an SE2 and launch it soon then how long till the iPhone becomes an unviable product to manufacture due to sales being so low? Imagine the Max, sorry, bigger sized ‘Pro’ model ‘starting’ from 1250 or even 1350!! Makes me think if they do launch an SE2 what’s it going to cost? 700 dollars?

I’ll never spend a grand or more on an iPhone, I’d just wait till the price drops and get an older model..

...or move to Android and get a new model for less than Apple charges for 3 or 4 year old tech.

. The SE is a young hipster phone. Shows your not a loaded tech bro and with young enough eyes to read on smaller phone.

ha...not just a young hipster phone. I am 60, certainly not a loaded tech bro and am fortunate to not need reading glasses and can easily read what's on my SE.

By increasing price they inflate the revenue earnings / stock price while skewing the data on how they are selling less devices by double-digit margins. Classic Tim Cook strategy...

Yeap, but it’ll eventually lead to lower revenue he won’t be able to hide. If these anti competition investigations find them guilty, plus the still on going battery scandal cases go against them they won’t be sitting pretty..

I don’t think I could go back to an SE, even given the size. Why? I think the A9 processor is going to really start aging once iOS 13 releases. For some, they might be OK with the sluggishness of the A9 performance, but I personally would rather wait until 2020 to see what Apple has in store for a smaller iPhone that’s been rumored for quite some time now, approximately around 5.4 inches.
iOS 13 runs fine on the SE and it's still in beta. The A9 is really impressive.

I went from a 5S to an SE solely because of the size. I'm going to buy another one if anything happens to this, unless there is a similarly sized attractive Android alternative.

It was so easy walking around and using my SE-sized phone with one hand back when I had one. That's one thing I miss now that I have an iPhone XS.

I had an SE when it first came around and loved it.
Went back too Samsung 7 then the Samsung 9 plus and two days ago came back too the iPhone world with an 8 plus.
Long story longer if they released a iPhone SE2 with more screen same body as the original better camera and internals I would buy one immediately.
Form factor battery life pocket friendly powerhouse is a big market that gets ignored a lot. Count me in for a 128gb if this theoretical device please and thank you.

The iphone 5, 5s, 5se was the best designed iPhone for me. Because of this thread i went back to my iphone 5s just for fun and wow! The thing is tiny small... Super light and easy to hold. I can reach every corner of the screen with no effort. Still love touch id. I can’t believe that’s what we were using a couple years ago
What’s even more mind boggling is that the 5s will support ios 13

My next phone will be whatever Apple offers the smallest in 2020, which has been rumored to be somewhere around 5.4 inches. As much as I like having a larger display, I don’t need that anymore, not when I have my iPad/laptop. I mean, I primarily just use my phone for notifications/emails/weather and taking photos. I don’t _need_ to have a 6.5 inch iPhone to do that, when I would rather have something smaller/less intrusive in my pocket.

I understand you. I have a X and Xs Max and i won’t lie the X is the perfect size. But i love big screens so much that i take the sacrifice of having a heavier and more difficult device to use...
Can’t have it all lol

I miss my 5 and 5s, almost picked up a brand new SE, but found a X for 500 less unused. If only they would make a flagship level SE..

A pipe dream I made up, moved the speaker grill to the bezel, under screen sensors, XR camera setup, USB-C, logo is the dango sweet haha.

I recently bought a used SE because I want a tiny phone to be used permanently in my car for CarPlay. It’s the perfect size to hide in the compartment just below the gear handle. And because it’s always connected to the car, CarPlay launches the moment I start my car. It’s such a great device. Why an SE and not a 5S? It’s because iOS 13 will still support SE and I will get a new CarPlay experience.

5s does not support iOS 13. The SE does though.

Yes, it's nice having a small phone in your pocket, and it's nice when the weight of the phone isn't very heavy. BUT, the screen and the battery life of my Max are phenomenal. I couldn't give that up.

Actually, battery life on the SE is pretty good. A lot better than 6S through 8.

I use SE for the time being. Size is a strange thing. I had XR for a while and loved the experience, but it was a bit too much heft for me. Sold it and the XS is too expensive for my tastes. So got the SE.

A lot of greats about it, speedy, good battery and so on, but:

- Having owned XR it feels a bit unresponsive to touch.
- Call quality is a bit poorer, I get the impression of being a bit less intelligeble when speaking. (Harder to hear what is being said.)
- Screen feels a bit dim and small for mail, photos, video.

It sort comes down to what you use your phone for.

For working out, texts, calls and just being easy to live with - SE is very good and affordable.

I was getting so bummed out because I thought my lightning port was dying as it would only intermittently charge.

Low and behold, I just needed to toothpick clean it completely and LOADS of dust/lint/stuff came out of there - it was amazing!

Working like a charm now!

I LOVE my SE. Jailbroken and just perfect.

You could give me the most expensive iPhone sold today and I would simply turn around and sell it, pocket the money and resume usage of my SE.

The physical size is *perfect*

It's so frustrating..
Way more of those would sell than I think Apple realizes.

Physical size of the device (and weight actually) are real barriers on literally everything new they make and sell.
