The closest is Optima Black. Your example looks like a slightly different cut to the version in this link: http://www.linotype.com/54495/OptimanovaProBlack-product.html

But Optima Black it is. Be aware that the capital "S" on Spanish looks horizontally scaled....

Did you try tracking/letterspacing it?!?

1. Grab the logo .png from the site.
2. Place it in Illustrator @ 100% (do not re-size it)
3. Type "MacRumors" in Myriad Pro Bold @ 73.47 pt with -43 tracking/letterspacing on top of it.

That's about 99% accurate.

How's that work for you?

I use photoshop, and when I set that tracking it was finally mostly right but not perfect, so I had to manually track between each letter a bit. But the main thing I had wrong was the size.

Pardon me for asking ...but why does it matter?

I see a fairly indistinct sans-serif font in the right-side text.

Use whatever fairly indistinct sans-serif font you want and you'll replicate it pretty closely.

What am I missing here?
