Truth. I used to always get the white iPhones because no one has them and it's a SHOCKING REVEAL when you pull that bad boy out of a case around someone and they always suspect Space Grey.

I am careless 95% of the time. Occasionally throw it in a case if I’m going to be doing that puts my phone at a higher risk for damage. I look forward to enjoying my blue pro this year.

I never use a case. I’ll take the risk.

What planet do you live on? I ask because I live on planet Earth where we have something called gravity. The mysterious force that will one day, somehow pull your iPhone to the ground when you least expect it. The end result? Either a scratched up iPhone or a scratched up iPhone with a shattered screen.

No thanks. I'll continue to use a case while I continue to live on planet Earth.

Everybody is different... I wouldn't either but some have their reasons

I have AppleCare. If I drop it and the damage is more than I’m willing to live with I can get a replacement. So you cover yours in a case, why would you care if it’s scratched up underneath?

AppleCare +. Can total a phone twice then.

Why would I care? 1) I'm OCD and I like everything I own to be in 100% pristine condition. 2) I always sell my iPhones when I upgrade. This means I get top dollar for my used iPhones because they look brand new, just like on day one.

- No one in their right mind is going to pay top dollar for an iPhone that looks like it's been beat to hell. I know I wouldn't...

I’ve actually gone caseless myself recently. My clear case yellowed up and cba to buy a new one. I have apple care + so I’m not that worried if I somehow total it. But I’ve never totalled an iPhone. I still use a screen protector tho as I can’t stand display micro scratches.

I always go for a black on black look. Black phone + black case. Im praying this years "Graphite" colors will be darker than Space Grey

I wish that the clear case from apple this year didn't have the ugly circle on it for magsafe. I do like having a clear case though- I have the project red 11 right now and it's pretty great :) Switching to Pacific Blue...haven't decided on a new case yet.

Ugh, this year, I find it a little harder deciding on the iPhone and case color choices. They’re all so beautiful. But then I ask myself, why do I even bother? It’s gonna be inside the case anyway. But I still can’t stop obsessing over it.

Who else just plans to buy whichever color iPhone is left in stock and then just deciding on the case color?
Unless there is a transparent case available at retail.

Your comment reminded me of this. Gravity is not a force!!

MagSafe killed the official Apple leather cases. When I preordered I didn’t see an option for a leather case. Maybe I missed it?

Since everybody is mentioning clear cases, which one should I buy ? :p

I'm planning on buying the iPhone 12 Mini and I'd prefer it to be as minimalistic as possible. Apple's clear case this year has that mark for the MagSafe connector which kind of puts me off. Any other suggestions ??

Amazon has a lot to choose from. I will be getting the ***** clear one for my 12 Pro Max when I order it in a couple of weeks.

The way the choice of colors help me is, I always order the color least in demand and even though I don't bother getting up at an unearthly hour, I still get it early. I always use an Apple Silicon cover and screen protector.

I really wish I could do a naked iPhone, but I am way too clumsy for that to be a thing. So clear case all the way for me! I usually use a Speck clear case, but wasn't super happy with it on my iPhone XS. Since I just pre-ordered the Pacific Blue 12 Pro, I'm looking into clear cases for it. Any brand recommendations that are good and don't cost a million bucks?
