Ordered 8/6. There is a charge from Apple pending on my credit card since 8/14. Order has been sitting in "Processing" status the whole time, no change. Expected delivery was 8/21 through 8/28 from the get-go, no change to that either.

10 core i9
8GB RAM (I have a 128 GB upgrade kit from OWC sitting here waiting)
1TB SSD
Radeon 5700 XT
10Gb Ethernet
Standard glass (not the nano-glass)

My order finally moved to "Preparing to Ship"

Did it JUST move to it? I've been watching you because we have the exact same order on the same day. When did you last check it before you just saw it move to Preparing? Thanks!

It moved some time in the last 90 minutes. I checked before a work meeting (still "Processing") and then after ("Preparing to ship").

It seems like shipments originating from Ireland are getting stuck in customs in Louisville for daysssss but shipments originating in Shanghai are clearing customs right away. ?

Ordered mine on the 5th, got it yesterday. Waiting for RAM that may or may not work.
The nanotexture on the screen is incredible effective, I'm impressed!

My UPS tracking page is also showing 3 import scans in Louisville, the first two were on 8/14, and one last might at 10pm. I contacted Apple and they didn't seem optimistic, and is investigating while putting a request for a replacement.

I contacted Apple last night and they told me “I wouldn’t worry about it if I were you.” ??

Did yours ship from Ireland?

Was hoping my 2015 MacBook Pro 13 + 4K monitor would hold out until ARM Macs release, but the work I've been throwing at it has it crashing a few times a week, and I reached my frustration breaking point when I lost a couple of hours of work last week. Placed an order for an i7 iMac yesterday with the 5700 GPU (not the 5700 XT) which should be plenty powerful enough for my needs for the next few years. Going to order 64gb of RAM from OWC. About 2 weeks away from working-from-home getting a whole lot easier. :)

Chatting with Apple now....hoping to get someone higher up who can get the ball rolling. This isn't happening at any other UPS hub as I've had shipments from all over the US and the world the past two weeks and nothing has taken this long. I had OEM SK Hynix RAM come from Hong Kong and it showed up in 5 days.

EDIT: Apple was of no help and did not offer any solution other than to call UPS. I expressed that there are multiple customers with the same issue related to the UPS Hub in Louisville, KY. Still of no help. On the phone with UPS now...

EDIT #2: UPS is claiming that customs has not released anything on this particular flight....hmm.

EDIT #3: No less than 20 minutes after getting off the phone with UPS, what do you know, it's clearing customs....

The RAM is Crucial CT32G4SFD8266 which seems to have the rights specs but is listed as not compatible on the Crucial website.

Will they let you exchange it if it doesn't work? They have 32g ram now for our computers as I am sure you already know. I am trying OWC ram for the first time. Hope it works.

Not sure if I can return them if I try them. They are 32gb each, so 64gb, or possibly 72gb if they play along with the stock units.

Me too! But mine was in the clearance stage once before, on 8/14 before all the import scans...fingers crossed!

Having worked for The Fruit Stand....I typically use keywords when talking/chatting with customer service reps that get the ball rolling...:)
