My delivery date has been updated to tomorrow by 9. It was initially scheduled for Thursday. I’m not getting my hopes up but I won’t be too disappointed if it arrives a day early.

Might not be possible. Looks like the iMac is really picky about mixing DRAM chips.
Wow! This morning I got updated shipping status that it was mailed (from China) on 8/18, and will arrive in Texas on 8/20--must've shipped overnight or second-day! Will wait to see if this happens, but in past ordering iPhones and Watches, they'd often ship much faster than initially stated.
I've got the same "clearing agency" notice. My original delivery estimate was 19-21 Aug so I suspect it will be delivered tomorrow (I've never had Apple deliver on any but the first day of the promised range). Even if it doesn't get here until Friday, it's not really late. Patience is a virtue - an overrated one I think - but still a virtue. Hope everyone gets their new iMacs soon!
I wish I knew! It seems like it is taking longer for these Irish iMacs to clear.
My original delivery day was Monday, then it got moved to Tuesday, and now is says information unavailable.
I guess I should be grateful that we are “staying home” since who knows when it will be delivered and I need to be here to sign for it.
same here. My shipment already went through this step though, on Friday. What are they doing over there!!
It did - I am replying on it now. Can't help but feel like I got lucky seeing what's happening to other folks. Really makes you wonder what they're finding on those planes from Ireland...?
Worth noting:
I replaced the 2x4GB OEM RAM with a 2x32GB Kingston HyperX RAM kit (HX426S16IBK2/64) knowing it may not work, but it's running like a champ. This kit was $198 + tax from Kingston direct, cheaper than the alternatives I found. Also, both the 8GB OEM RAM and the 64GB HyperX RAM use Micron chips, but the HyperX is rated at CL16. Not sure if the iMac takes advantage of the lower timings though.
Just got another Import Scan at 9:22pm CST...this is the 4th Import Scan...this is crazy! Updated to being delivered tomorrow morning...hmm. Let’s see if it leaves Louisville, KY tonight!

same here. Import scan at 10:30. Delivery set for tomorrow. I don’t think that’s happening though.

Mine sat in China for a few days before making its way to Memphis. It’s now showing that it’s in Seattle at the sorting facility. The estimated delivery date is still Thursday but it may come tomorrow. FedEx is pretty good in my neighborhood but given how long this sat in China, I clearly didn’t pay for priority shipping.
Of course, the irony is that I may not be able to use it until Thursday because I ordered the VESA model because I want to attach it to a new desk via an arm, but the desk won’t be here until next week so I'm going to have to use a monitor stand I ordered off Amazon — and despite living in the land of Amazon, I'm not expecting that until Thursday.
