kkat69, you, and me are in the same boat-see my comment above re: this shipment delay. The Apple CS was really apologetic...don't know what exactly happened, but it appears to be a FedEx problem, more than Apple. In any case, we're all three in GA (I'm in Savannah) and we're all three stuck waiting thru the long holiday
Might want to give Apple a call-they really do try to please and it can't hurt!
Well THAT was a frigging ordeal. BUT, I got my 20" 2.4ghz... here's a little story of why I hate Best Buy.
Aug 15th:
Ordered the 20" 2.4ghz off Bestbuy.ca because if you preordered you got $50 off. I also signed up for a credit card with them because your first purchase is 10% off, and you don't have to pay for 3 months (other wise I wouldn't be able to afford it).
Aug 28th:
The day my order was set to ship... my order status? Out of stock. Well what the hell was the point of a preorder then!? Grr... so now I call customer service and they have no idea when it's supposed to ship.
Aug 30th (Today):
Checked the bestbuy.ca store again... order status still out of stock. Checked the retail store's inventory and it said it had 20"s at my local bestbuy. Call them. They have my model. So I reserved it, drove out on my work lunch break and bought that instead, and cancelled my online order.
Annoying as hell that they'd ship them to their stores, but not to the customers that pre-ordered!!! I left out all the other details of how frustering it was getting the bestbuy credit card, and the idoit people I delt with in the process.
Anyways, Bestbuy, YOU SUCK
Yes, I did! Setup was quick and easy. I've been using a 12-inch PowerBook G4 for the past three years, so it's exciting to have a huge screen again. I couldn't even imagine having the 24-inch model, haha. I hope your system is working out well too.Hey briangrapes did you receive your order yet?

Which would be good since the iPod is due Tues. Either way, we'll get 2 new Apple products at the same time or close to it and be playing with em both till no ends.
Time to hit Apple store again and look for a nice case for the iPod. It's going to goto my daughter as a bday present but you know mommy and daddy gotta play with it first........... QA check ya know, gotta make sure it works

^ same as. I dont think TNT update their tracking as much as FedEx do. Or most prob be held up for some reason. I can argue since estimated shipping is 31st aug - 5th sept. Looks like it will come next week then
