iMac shipping status?

Wohoo! Just placed an order for a white 2.16 ghz 20in imac!

Its not from Apple, its from a reseller. Order was received and it says will ship on monday!

Thisll be my first mac!

Its a site i buy a lot of stuff from, zzounds.com. I got the last one. If they hadn't had "Only one left" next to it, i probably would have waited to go to an apple store to see if they had any white ones. The nearest one is an hour and a half away.

Another Friggin' Update

Was supposed to ship by Sept.12-14, has not shipped yet, it's Sept.15 in China, Apple Warehouse is closed and not shipping, it's past 4 am there!.

Also, I kept phoning Apple after speaking with various useless departments not willing to help reseller customers, if I was online customer they would help as mentioned before. But anyways, after speaking with Apple Canada Customer Relations for the third time and mentioning my case # and product not shipped yet as mentioned, she just heard my frustration with delays and unfair apple tactics, she put me on hold and came back and apple finally caved in and admitted problems and will send me a $125 voucher towards any apple product purchase. At least it's better than $100 off online customers were crying for and getting instantly or even free wireless upgrades. I am still waiting for a call from distributor as was told by reseller.

I ordered mine on the 14th along with the free printer and ipod. The Printer and Ipod are both shipped, and my imac is prepared for shipment and ships by the 14-18, and arrives by the 24th-28th.

Was supposed to be shipped this past week, but was pushed again. How many folks have ordered and had their iMacs shipped from apple last week? This reseller 4th class citizenship really sucks. First the $200 price drop after 2 months on both my iPhones, and now my reseller can't get a single iMac shipped in 5 weeks. Apple is really not making me a satisfied customer.

Finally, some activity happening after 5 weeks of inactivity and delays, should be in Anchorage, Alaska distribution later today and hopefully at my doorstep by Thursday, maybe end of day Wednesday.
Sure it has been total pain and wait is tough, but it is unacceptable on Apple's end, my friend order 17" MacBook Pro and waited nearly 3 months!!! I wanted to make sure that was not the case here. Anyways, for extreme delays, Apple is emailing me a $125 voucher for any apple product purchase. Will keep you posted on that and the iMac.

Nice... Everyhign on my order seems to be on time, my imac has left Shanghai ... My printer is in transit to Richmond, and my ipod is in transit in memphis... I ordered all of that on the 14th, so, good news

Ok well after a dumb mistake of mine, my imac didnt ship. I accidently put my cell phone number instead of my home phone and it wouldnt clear with the bank. So they called me and said itll ship tomarrow and ill have it by wednesday or thursday. I cant wait!

Getting closer... moving fast in one day (passing time zone). Looks like it'll be in my hands on Wednesday. I think it's going via Memphis or Indianapolis. It's now frustration and anger over delays turning into excitement. Just one more thing... it'll better arrive in one piece, problem free.

Finally, it's moving amazingly fast across the continent. Expected to receive by noon on Wednesday. Apple issued me a voucher for $125, any apple purchases from apple, but there's a catch... minimum purchase of $375. Oh well. better than nothing... as there's always something to buy from apple.

After reading some of these posts and others about FedEx's "quality", I'm starting to get concerned about the fact that my shipment has been "Departing" Memphis for the last 3 days. I'm picturing forklifts piercing my iMac in some far-away warehouse

For international (Shanghai to Alaska) I think they mainly use Federal Express.

The issue is with re-sellers only? I ordered from the apple store a three days ago; shipping was to be the 18th to the 20th and it shipped today the 18th.
