iMac shipping status?

Drunk pilot, terrorist, in flight refueling, it's going by boat, or all sorts of crazy ass things..

FedEx is whack... It took them 3 days for me to make a god damn shipping label, now they are telling me it left origin for couple hours... Is the driver driving all the way from Shanghai to Northern China just to ship my package?
 
I still haven't been assigned a courier, but it says its been shipped and is merging in tranist in GB. Supposedly it will be here for Friday.
 
Now it has to fly West.

It was in Alaska, and just had to fly South to Nevada but it went East to Tennessee. Now it has to fly West, I hope directly to Las Vegas. I wonder if I could have it Monday? So hard to be cool and mentally prepare for a Wednesday delivery when I want it Monday... or yesterday. :D

I don't think so, maybe Tuesday because I'm not sure if they do flights on Sundays. Oh and my Mac is coming to me on the 26th instead of the 24th like Apple suggested..

*sigh*, well Wednesday is a short day for me =D

lawl you're right. Oh and if you live in Nevada and your iMac is in LV then it probably will come tomorrow...

My plane is being an idiot and after 8 hours it's still in flight... So far it has been 3 days and 4 tomorrow... 6 by delivery day, if they aren't late.

Damn it, Apple told me it will be here by the 24th lol, *sigh*. At least I got a free USB cable for the printer.
 
Where do i get an update bit to say where in the world my iMac is?

Because im on the tracking order thing and I only get this:

I ordered mine early on Monday the 24th hoping that it would ensure a delivery this week, but I'm starting to feel pessimistic. It had a shipping date of 25-27 SEP and a delivery date of 27SEP-02OCT. I paid the extra $33 hoping that it would push things along, but if it doesn't ship tomorrow then I will have to wait through the weekend.

Trust me I know the anxiety of waiting only to intimately. My 2.8 extreme just got here on Monday.. could have been Wednesday so Monday was very nice.

Good luck to you I hope it is sooner then later. :apple:

Thanks, me too! This is my first iMac so I am excited and ready to make the official switch over. My status was changed this morning to "Prepared for Shipment", so I must be close within 24 hours of shipping, and again hopefully my $33 will buy me the better part of the 2-3 day delivery and get here on Friday.

It's shipped! I don't like this whole "Delivers by" ordeal though, there is a chance of it arriving sooner don't you think?

I can happen because my iMacs have always arrived on the sooner date. One time the FedEx driver told me he brought it out early because he knew I would be waiting for my Apple. How cool was that? Your extra shipping charges should get you some benefit! Keep us informed.

Thanks for taking interest and instilling some hope for me! My Airport Express and Sims 2 game just showed up today, so I can play with the instruction manual I suppose...
