iMac shipping status?

I wish the wireless keyboard was shipping at the same time.

Thanks to those that suggest you just ask for free upgraded shipping.
I ordered Wednesday 10pm EST so I wasn't exactly first in line and was given these dates with standard shipping

So I called Thursday night and asked if they could upgrade me to free express shipping. I was very polite and commented how I always loved their amazing customer service. The guy said "Sure!". So now the dates are.

That made me very happy over just 1 little phone call. Plus I live in Canada and don't have the $40 off $400 coupons so I just asked for the $40 off and the rep said sure. This was on top of the $100 off I got with the Education discount not to mention the free Ipod which I upgraded to an Ipod video for $70.
 
I ordered iMac Thursday afternoon, and it is now "prepared for shipment," so hopefully it comes early next week (by Wednesday or so I hope maybe).

my iPod nano got delayed cause of thunder storms in Shenzeng so im gonna get it a day later....sigh...

I ordered mine Tues afternoon and it still hasnt shipped or prepared for shipping. WTF!

For Stock orders (not a Config to Order iMac), they are shipping from the US via FedEx Ground. If it is going to a residential address, FedEx Ground (or FedEx Home) Delivery does deliver on Satrudays.

No just a wireless mouse. I wanted the wireless keyboard but I like a numeric keypad. 500 gb hard drive

It is now changed to Prepared for shipment. It is 9am in China. Will it move over the weekend or are they shut down until Monday?

Hey mine must be with yours as well. It's "In transit," left origin in Shanghai. No delivery date specified yet. But I'm quite excited. :) It's replacing my Rev.B 20" iMac G5 --

New iMac (24inch, 320GB, 2MB RAM) shipped on the 10th. The estimated delivery time is the 20th/21st of August.

Surely it can't take 10 days to deliver it!

(from the UK Apple store btw)
 
I paid for 2nd Day, and my FedEx shipping currently says it'll arrive "by the 15th." That's 4 days from now, and it shipped yesterday. :'( If it was real two-day shipping I'd at least have it by Tuesday.
 
one question.

its in my city, and it says "in transit"
does that mean the same thing as out for delivery?

I wish I knew where it was now. Does anyone now if FedEx delivers on weekends?
