iMac shipping status?

Mine also left Memphis in the wee hours of yesterday morning (Aug 10, 2007 2:52 AM), but the status hasn't been updated in the last 24 hours. It's coming to Canada, but I would have expected it to have cleared customs etc yesterday...
 
I take it "prepared for shipment" means that it should be on its way within the next few days?
 
Ordered my 24" 2.8 with regular configuration on Wed. Aug 8th and today, Sat. Aug 11th, it is listed as "Prepared For Shipment" to Canada.

Any idea why the Order Info says that it is a Custom Configuration and why it say that it is a 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo instead of the 2.8 GHz Core 2 Extreme that I ordered??

I'm in the same boat as you, the fact its a custom config means its the 24" with the extreme chip in it, so I'm assuming its just a typo and nothing to worry about.

Ordered my 20 in. 2.4 on Tuesday afternoon. Only change was wireless mighty mouse.

Est. delivery is 8/14. (It is in my state as of 8/11 early morning).
 
I ordered on Wednesday afternoon. No change in status (not yet shipped) as of Saturday night. i wonder if education orders ship more slowly. i expected it to ship on friday at the latest. stock 24"

I ordered my 20" custom this evening through the educational program and it's to be shipped tuesday.

New iMac on its way...

I too ordered a new 24" iMac.

I also ordered a Canon MP470 All-In-One Printer for $100.

I will receive a $100 rebate for the printer because I purchased from the Apple Store.:D

Hard to say no to a free printer. Now about those Printer Cartridges...

Of course I had to order a copy of Parallels so I can login to work from home.

I also went ahead and bought an AirPort Extreme Base Station, now that it has a three Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports.

This should work perfect with the iMac...:cool:

I can't wait to setup my first Mac...

My 2.8 1GB RAM 750GB HDD BT MM that I ordered Wed morning shipped on Fri morning and has been updated to Arrived at Fedex location Memphis, TN as of Sun morning at 4:37 am. It lists an expected delivery of Wed Aug 15 by 10:30 am.

mine has changed to prepared for shipment, so fingers crossed it will ship tomorrow (originally estimated for the 15th) outside chance i could get it early next week maybe (shipping to the UK).
 
Mine just shipped from shaghai to the UK, do they ship these things on ships or planes?

UPDATE!!!

I received my Canon Printer and AirPort Extreme Base Station and Parallels.

Only waiting for the iMac...Should receive by Friday Aug 17th.

normally its flown to amsterdam by K&N then given to tnt or ups
but mine is coming tnt all the way from china
15th august shipping date and 20-21 delivery and now(see attach):D so im guessing definitely by end of the week btw this is stock 20" 2.4 w/ wireless mouse going to UK

do they fly em from shanghai then?
 
im pretty sure they do, because shipping them would take a long time, a really long time lol

TNT are showing the exact same shipping info for my imac (24" 2.8GHz) so we should get them around the same time.

Apple says Fri :)
 
I hope in the next couple of hours Apple (China) releases my computer to UPS/Fedex who ever they are using. Seeing it is only 5:04 AM Monday over there. I hope in the next 10 hours it will ship *fingers crossed* i would love too have it by Wednesday :) I just wish I used Express shipping on Wednesday, would have been shipped probably Friday, would have probably received it by Monday (tomorrow).
 
mine shipped from china Friday. Fedex status says it's now in Memphis. I was hoping I'd have it by Tuesday, but it seems like it says it won't be here until wednesday. Ah well! Very excited to have a replacement for my iMac G5.
