Shuttering or droping frames for me gone with 4.0.2 update.

But this two videos:

(recorded with iPhone 6 1080p 60fps) shutter much more than before…

I also noticed much faster playback start/seek times.

But dropping support for divx movies is a really anoying.

DivX videos are also not working for me. Is this a bug with the new version or an intended change?

I am having the same problem but not always. Maybe after it "looses" the content. If you exit out and then come right back in it is fast. But after a while it is not. Like if the App Reloads. Is that your experience?

previous version load my shares fairly quickly. this version takes longer.

please fix this.
Is this happening all the time or when first loading the share. Often times, the source device will need to wake and spin up before any content can be loaded, so this will appear as a short delay. FWIW, this behavior was present before and we're not seeing any differences in loading times on our end in 4.0.1 vs 4.0.2.

DivX has never been officially supported, though in past builds, some of these videos happened to work. However, in 4.0.2 certain DivX features (and the Xvid equivalents) have been disabled for compatibility reasons. We're looking into ways to get them working again for a future version.

everytime when I select a favorite folder. it is much slower than before.

I just downloaded pro version, but i would like to ask some questions.

I have a pc as server with many disks inside.
In each disk i have a folder called Movies, among other folders.
So in infuse i have several favorites with movies inside....can i have one favorite with all my folders of movies?

I dont remember where every movie is...

If not, can you add it later?

Also, can you add support of dvd and bd folders, even without menus?

As someone who found this app unusable due to it's playback issues initially, I have to commend the devs as this version works PERFECTLY for me now. A massive, massive improvement.

Load time is almost instant on UPnP. SMB load time seems excessive, especially on initial load, 9-11s. Reload of SMB share is 3-4s.
Thanks - we'll take a look.

A flattened library view which will allow multiple shares to be grouped together will be available in an upcoming version.

Great to hear. Thanks! ;)

Well, that's a little disappointing. I'll be looking into other media apps until this is fixed, as most of my videos require DivX compatibility.

Is there a way I can restore the previous version of Infuse to retain compatibility?

What is the best settings in apple tv 4 hdmi output , for viewing movies in 24p ?
I am in Pal country... Will i have to switch to 1080 50 maybe?
Is there any possibility to support native24p output?

You can try both 50/60Hz and see which you have better luck with, but unfortunately the Apple TV doesn't allow for native 24p output.

Some newer TVs can extract a 24p video from a 60p signal (reverse 3:2 pulldown) which seems to work rather well. More info on this can be found here. http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/by-test-results/24p

The ethernet of apple tv 4 is enough to play very big and demanding mkv files i have from bd rips?
I have many files 30-50gb .... Maybe its better with wifi ac ?

Ethernet should be fine, though a solid 802.11ac 5GHz connection will provide much faster speeds.

We can stream ~30GB Blu-ray files using either, but Wi-Fi starts faster, IIRC.

FWIW, after updating manually to 4.0.2 (somehow my ATV didn't automatically update the app before), the playback problems I had in earlier versions with MKVs that I ripped from my old HD-DVDs seem to be gone. These include high-bitrate H.264 or VC-1 video and FLAC audio streams. Well done!

Can you see there ever being support for video with Flac audio? I have a handful of BDs I have ripped with Flac and they are only being seen as 2.0. I've noticed this is the case with every video app I've tried, so maybe a limitation of the ATV.
