The latest version of Infuse for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV is here and contains a number of things that we think you're really going to enjoy!

All-new list view
We've added a slick new list view option that provides quick access to video artwork and details. It has all the same great details as the standard poster view, and should allow you to feel right at home when you start using it. List View can be enabled in Infuse > Settings.

Nice, Infuse keeps getting better and better!

One thing though, will Library or List view be coming to iOS? My TV shows look amazing on the Apple TV now but on iOS seasons are still separated and mixed in with movies :(

Love the list view. Would like to see it on the home-screen as well. (the screen that shows your shares).

List view is just what I was hoping for. Nice job. Just picked up a refurb 32gb last week, bought infuse pro after trying it out and liked it a lot. List view turns it into loving it. Keep up the good work!

I don't use the library, just access the share on my NAS directly (content changes frequently) and it works great so far.

One question, does the metadata get pruned (if a file is no longer found on a share for example) or do I need to clear it occasionally?

Great! Glad to hear you're enjoying it. :)

With regard to metadata, Infuse will manage this automatically - adding and removing entries as needed.

List view is great! This app keeps getting better. I use it just about every day. Thanks for the updates.
Awesome! Enjoy. :)

Tried it out last night with the Plex login and worked really good!!! no stuttering and audio was on point.
Awesome! Glad to hear it's working well for you. :)

I would love to see a 30 sec skip ahead function. I've gotten so used to having it with my PVR.

EDIT: Just found the official forum with much more in depth discussion. I think I'll find out what I'm looking for there, please disregard. Thanks for the great app.

The quick answer to this (in case anyone else is wondering) is Infuse supports 2 different skip modes. By default, hovering over the edges of the Siri remote and tapping will skip forward/back 10s. If the Chapter Control option is enabled in Infuse's settings, then these edge taps will skip back and forth between chapters instead. The normal ff/rw option can be used in either mode.

Hope this helps. :)

My ipad is currently jailbrolen and can access my file system from network. I know that all my itunes sync media is located in Media/itunes_control. Inside those folders, there are also folders with random name.

Can Infuse Pro collect all the media files, even inside sub folder, grab the metadata, and sort it based on TV shows season?

Infuse can access synced iTunes videos by enabling the 'Show iTunes Videos' option in Settings. However, purchased content is only supported in Apple's normal Videos app.

Yeah I know it can in iPad. That's why I'm wondering if Infuse Pro on aTV can scan subfolder, find metadata, and sort movie/tv show directly for me instead of showing based on folder. Anyway, thanks for your helpful response.

Got it.

You can direct Infuse to read metadata embedded within the videos by enabling the 'Embedded Metadata' option.

First time using the app since the last update (I've been Netflix binging) and I guess I'm the only person having problems with playback stuttering? I've had literally zero problems, since the first update, back in the day, yet with this latest one, something has broken at some stage, and files that were flawless previously, drop frames, and sometimes stutter. Gutted is an understatement, as you can't roll-back versions. :(

@firecore I just picked up an Apple TV 4 yesterday and bought the Infuse Pro app! Thank you for the great interface, I was surprised how great and smooth it is coming from the Kodi on rPi interface.

I was wondering if there is a way to stack movie sequels together in one folder automatically instead of sorted one by one?

Also, are there big updates/features coming that you've been waiting to implement until tvOS 10?

I deleted and reinstalled and things seem ok now. Very odd. Panic over.
Hmm, that is a bit strange. Please let us know if anything like that pops up again in the future.

Awesome! Glad to hear you're enjoying it.

We have lots of good things coming this fall after iOS/tvOS 10 is out. ;)
