You can drag images from the photo library straight into a message. Either to the conversation itself, which sends the image immediately; or into the text box, which allows you to add text.
Interesting, wondering if this drag and drop feature has been implemented in split view on the iPad Pro.

On both my 6s+ and iPad Air 2 the alarm volume plays LOUD, it will not keep the changes of turning it down.

Some observations after a couple of days with beta 2:

1. Some Proactive features related to apps frequently used seem to not be working in beta 2, after having worked well in beta 1.

2. If you copy an address in Safari, Maps automatically offers it up to be viewed.

3. When using Reachability, 3DTouch shortcuts for apps ahow up in reverse order (see attached screenshot).

4. Music has a new setting to automatically download any songs added to your library.

5. Music also has a new setting for Cellular data with new toggles that allow for cellular usage for streaming and downloads separately.

6. Phone settings now has modified option for Call Blocking & Identification.

7. Under Advertising there is a new section about ads in Apple apps.

8. In Music, sadly, Apple's playlists no longer show update date at the top. Hope this returns.

Mine doesn't look like this, I'm on Public Beta 1. Maybe there are some differences, people were reporting they were the same releases. I just have the Downloaded Music tab, not the Optimize Storage or Automatic Downloads.

Nice findings! I especially like that streaming and downloads have been separated for cellular in music. I keep most of my music downloaded to device so I try not to use a lot of data on streaming. I like having the ability to stream the occasional song or even a playlist but not have things start downloading if I add them to my library and using up a lot of data. Pretty sweet.

I hope they continue to keep breaking up settings like these to let you be more specific (I'm looking at you Desktop and Documents in the Cloud! Documents sure, but I don't want to sync my desktop incase I drop something bigger there temporarily!).

It's not just me .This video was made 6 hours ago and this guy is also getting lag as he comments many times during the video.More so for the iPhone 6 as he says which I agree with

The issue isn't that we don't believe there is lag. Of course there is. The point is that it's dumb to complain about lag in a beta because the betas always have lag. They are compiled with optimizations turned off, with logging features turned on, etc. because they are meant to help Apple and developers test the functionality. I've been an iOS developer since day 1, and I've run every beta, and there hasn't been one that wasn't laggier than the final release candidate.

Cool findings on all others but for 8:
This is where they show when playlist has been updated.

So it is there. Don't know why Apple music user cannot see it since I am not.

Sorry, with DND off.
Probably just a bug within the apps. They aren't optimized for iOS 10.

I honestly don't know how reliable the geek bench battery test is. But if this is true thus far I would be very pleased. I get about 8-10hrs of usage with my 6s on 9.3.3Beta3-5, so a 20-30% increase would be fantastic.

The problem with the geek bench battery test is that it doesn't take into account any standby time, which does impact battery life over the course of a day.

Quick question. In iOS 9 there was an option in apple music where we could only show music that was downloaded on the device without disabling iCloud Music Library. It was in the list where you choose artist, album, genre, etc. I can't seem to find that in iOS 10. Is that option still there?

Is it just me or is the ability to go to the album/artist page not working from the now playing screen? When listening to all songs on shuffle, if I click the artist name and album name and it does nothing.

On the Library tab there should be an option in the top list that just says "Downloads." As far as I know you can't remove that one so it should be there for you. When you tap it you get taken to an almost identical page with a banner at the top saying "Showing only music on this iPhone." Hope that helps.

Yeah, unfortunately it's not working still. It's a known bug though so hopefully it'll be fixed in the next beta. My bug report for the same issue was filed as a duplicate so I'm sure they've gotten more than a few reports about it at this point.

Oh yeah, I was looking for a toggle button so I completely missed that, thanks!

After beta2 i cant delete email form the lock screen anymore. I would assume this is form the extended options for user with out 3d touch. Any idea how to fix it or workaround it? Thanks

Oh Fillip! Good guy, great videos! Nostalgic love like me.

Yeah going off what others said, don't ever judge a beta's performance, fluidity, battery life, etc. Use it for testing purposes, bug reports, etc. If your not happy go back to the latest official release.

My alarms didnt go off this morning until an hour later. Even then, it kept stuttering trying to play the first note. Had to hard reset, screen wouldn't respond to snooze or close.

After that, Maps had the GPS pegged on, yet wasn't doing anything. The maps and weather widgets didn't display any data.

I'll be going back to 9.3.2 this weekend.

It happens with stock message app :(
