I have the iPhone 7 Plus, I forced it to stay on 10.1.1, but stayed away from the buggy JB release from Luca back in December. I still have not Jailbroke this phone yet.

But I read on various websites that stuff has been updated and bugs worked on since December, and now substrate and Cydia are more stable ?

Can I JB my 7 Plus on 10.1.1 and will this be more stable and safer than the release from Christmastime ? or has nothing really changed and it's still a buggy mess ?

Luca has confirmed that he will continue to update 10.1.1 jailbreak but not now. He has other things as priority for now. So it is not clear how long it will take him to release an update. Could be weeks or even months.

Guys who own a iPhone 7 / Plus what are you plans?

Jailbreak now with beta 3 or wait for a stable update from Luca later?

I feel it may be a risk to jailbreak now because 10.1.1 is the only firmware that can jailbreak now for iPhone 7 / Plus. If we mess things up we will be forced to restore to 10.2.1 and hence close all doors for jailbreak.

What are your thoughts?

Just wait for a stable release. Shouldn't be too long now.

Impoasible to mess something.

I'm on Beta 3 from 2 days. All Fix installed and my I7 is stable and perfect like before apply jailbreak. No reboots at all and not slow device at all.

Important thing is to not install untested tweaks but this will be a yaly1011 problem too.

Make iPhone 7 Great Again !!!

I know it is tempting but I am not an expert in jailbreaking. I have been jailbreaking my iPhones since the last 2 years and those were released jailbreaks and not betas.

Once I got substrate fix to work, and installed Respring+, b3 has been really stable for me on my 7+. I'm being really cautious with the tweaks I'm installing. If you follow the steps posted in this thread and the link to the tutorial, you should be fine. It's definitely going to be easier to wait for an update now...

Is there a good video on YouTube showing how to jailbreak on iPhone 7 / Plus?

I found these 2 videos. Can you quickly check to see if I can follow the steps like in the video?

Jailbreak iPhone 7

This video doesn't mention about substrate fix but heard that we can download it from Cydia itself. Is that true?

Cellular Data Fix

Those videos are good. After you do all of that, add these sources on Cydia
83.218.67.215/~ijapija00/cydia - install SubtrateFix.
apt.saurik.com/beta/cydia-arm64/ - select upgrade essentials
rpetri.ch/repo - install RocketBootStrap and PreferenceLoader

Thanks. That gives me some encouragement to go ahead with jailbreaking my iPhone 7 Plus.

How do I un jailbreak iPad air2 on 9.3.3 to update to latest iOS 10.2.1
without wiping or restoring, basically keeping all info now intact?

The best way is to backup your data, connect to iTunes and put your iPad into DFU mode and when prompted by iTunes, restore.

It will completely wipe everything and then restore your backup from earlier.

If you're willing to risk it and lose 10.1.1, then it's worth doing.

For the average user I wouldn't.

I hope that an update to support iPhone 7 / Plus is released this month.

So the iPhone 7 jailbreak is only available as the 10.1.1 and it's the beta one? There's no stable release similar to the 10.2 jailbreak available for the iPhone 7?

That is correct. Supposedly Luca is working on making the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak similar to the iOS 10.2 version, but nothing has been updated as of yet.

With alot of people messaging him about the jailbreak I doubt if he will do it anytime soon. He seems quite annoyed already.
