Can anyone tell me if the disabled video player controls have returned when watching videos in alien blue?
Wouldn't that be related to Alien Blue, and seeing that Alien Blue is no longer being updated because of the official Reddit App, I don't think that will be fixed.

The battery on my iPhone 6s has improved on iOS 10.1 beta 2. On beta 1, I saw my battery decreasing rapidly as I was using it. I also ran some test in coconut battery while on beta 1 and beta 2. I was 76% of my design capacity on beta 1. On beta 2, I am on 87% of my design capacity.

Did an update and fro my perspective the overall speed issues i have been seeing are gone. In the same spot for the past few days i was closing under 1 MBPS, did a reset network settings after install and up to 45 to 50 mbps. Went for a drive this morning , that usually had some connection issues, used Waze, and no issues, did a speed testing while wake was running and did not skip a beat. Also ordered Starbucks via the mobile app and all fine, where is on 25.5 had issues. The other thing i am noticing is that i am not losing GPS signal and bluetooth audio is not skipping .
Were you noticing issues before?

It purges App cache. Any app with "junk" is then cleaned. This is extremely useful with Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook as well because it clears all the cached photos, documents and data in the background as well. I don't use the FB app anymore, but there are times that it would grow from 100MB to 5GB all from cached non-sense. Battery Doctor would get all the storage back without having to delete the app and re download it.

Remember the old 'rent iTunes' movie trick? Battery doctor does the same thing. It artificially fills storage space so then iOS is tricked into clearing cache. So its not breaking any sandboxing rules. Its just iOS being tricked into thinking storage is full so its trying to find more available storage.

Now to your point, RAM cleaning apps are entirely worthless and fake.

Just an FYI

RAM cleaning apps may be fake now, but they were not once upon a time.

Those apps used a trick similar to the storage cleaning trick. The would allocate memory to the point of a memory warning, then release the allocated memory. This forced the OS to purge RAM used by other apps freeing memory.

Once Apple realized the apps were doing this, they started notifying developers this was not an acceptable practice.

The same will happen eventually with the storage cleaning apps. Only a matter of time.

Alien blue was just an example. The video controls don't work in almost all third party apps when trying to play videos directly in the app.

Battery capacity fluctuates. At least on my 6s. Usually it shows 1600mah (93%), sometimes 1500mah (87%) and sometimes even 1400mah (82%).

Battery health capacity will bounce around 1000 times a day. It depends if the battery is under load, charging, idle, cold, hot and so on. Every single condition will change the health of the battery. It is entirely normal for it to range 5-10% daily. Has nothing to do with the beta. Once your battery starts dropping below 80% it becomes unstable and will bounce around even more, sometimes up to 30% in a day.

The background makes all the difference. I just put a 10.0.2 next to my 10.2 beta 2 with the same wallpaper and there is zero change in the shade of the Widgets.
Hmm ok well the other poster mentioned it and I had thought it looked a shade darker on my device. After reading his/her post it was a light bulb moment that I thought it looked differently. I swear it looks a bit darker on my device now. Maybe I will copy my wallpaper to wifes device and do a side by side when I have some time. It may not be any different but weird that to the other poster and me we both seem to notice it is a tad darker shade. Anyway will update if I have a chance but if you did a side by side, then I suppose its not changed.

Few Issues that seem to still be present from previous:
- raise to listen enabled causes the audio message to fire off randomly when going into handwriting mode in iMessage
- hidden button still in music app
- safari keyboard issue (numeric not changing back on single digit)

That's the problem with Apple fanboyism there is no patience involved. :p
Right, if it isn't completely up to the blazing fast standard of iOS 4 (or the Holy Grail of iOS builds, 8.4.1), even though its a beta, its a failure. Might as well sell our phones and use tin cans and string.

Anybody already have experiences with battery life? Especially compared to iOS 10.0.2, where it's pretty bad..

Battery life is truly dependent on more factors than just iOS version. My battery life on 10.0.2 is double what it was on 10.0.1, no exaggeration. I'm seeing 6+ hours extra of usage on 10.0.2 and almost virtually no standby drain.

So far on iP6s battery seems fine. Currently sitting at 91% and 1 hr 12 min use and 5 hr 17min stdby. Mostly email, app updates and iMessage (no music).

I've had a respring while in the camera app after taking a lot of photos and switching back and forth between photo, portrait and video with the iPhone 7 Plus on Beta 2.

In Beta 1 I even had the camera app freeze in the "out of focus - starting up" state after using it many times. Only a reboot would fix it.

Has anyone seen similar issues?

Can anyone tell me if the public beta 2 is the same build as the developer version (14B67)? I'm assuming it is but would like to know for sure before downloading it.
