I clearly stated that every major shift OS 2, OS 3 required the corresponding iOS. However the 2.x and 3.x release do not require the corresponding 9.x and 10.x betas
That's correct. I have friends that run the wOS 3.1.1 beta builds (including b4 released today) on iOS 10.1. wOS 3.x requires iOS 10.x but that's the only requirement. It's funny because I can send them one of the new emoji and they see it correctly on their watch but get the "?" on their phone.

How interesting. Yeah no issue with my AT&T 7Plus.

I had it enabled on both my iPhone 6 on beta 4 and then MacBook Air on beta 3. I updated to beta 4 on my iPhone 6 and when I checked it was disabled and had to start in all over again, every step.

That was fixed in Beta 3 already.

No it wasn't

Tried. Still same. I get the same behaviour on two different devices. Related to location then? In weather app the temps are right.

Updated to beta 4 on one of my devices and it's not fixed. I'm starting to wonder what is Apple doing. Not fixing bugs apparently.

They definitely did something on WiFi because now everything is back to normal regarding poor WiFi performance with all the betas of iOS 10.2. In 10 tests with Speedtest app, I get almost the same results, 95Mbps and that's almost the maximum speed I have on my ISP contract, with no degradations what so ever.

Can someone check a bug for me? I've never installed 10.2 beta, and I've been experiencing it since 10.0 betas.

On an iPhone, open Messages and enter any conversation.
Bring up the keyboard.
Start a screen edge swipe back gesture to return to conversations view, but cancel it by releasing your finger.
Did the keyboard show a wrong animation?

P.S.: It also works on many other apps that allow a swipe back gesture when a keyboard is present.
They fixed it in 10.2 beta

First 10.2 beta I've installed, based in the U.K. so no TV app, and up until now no major changes noticed.
Phone feels generally smoother, maybe placebo effect, but so far very stable, so generally happy! iPhone 7

Looks like they put Home Sharing back into setting for the TV app, but there does not appear to be a way to access home shared content at the moment. Can anyone else confirm?

so not a single bug fix over beta 3 is that confirmed at this point?

There are several bug fixes for the TV app mentioned in the release notes but it doesn't sound like anyone has found other fixes. Given the update was close to 2 GB OTA and the trailing letter has been dropped from the version number, it looks like this is probably the GM build and any additional bug fixes will have to wait for 10.3. I'm guessing Apple wants to release the TV app before the holidays and has to cut off development on 10.2 at some point to meet that deadline. Of course, it's that pattern of pushing out software updates before they're really ready that has led to so many horrendously buggy releases from Apple since iOS 7 (7.0 on the iPad, 8.0.1 killing cellular on iPhone 6, 9.3 bricking devices with TouchID repairs just to name a few). I guess when Cook fired Scott Forstall he fired all the QC guys too.

Well, they definitely fixed and changed a number of things in iOS 10.2, but certainly not everything.
