The next step is home automation scenes, the popcorn shaped button will be 3d touchable and voila there you have "good morning" scene, "good night" scene etc

Even if it isn't, so what, since he mentioned it the schedule might've changed.
Based on his Twitter feed and various news sources using him (like Forbes) it seems like he's been getting his "5 minutes of internet" for years now.
True, the presumption seems to be that Theatre mode is getting a prime spot in control center, but if this is what it is won't it be on the HomeKit page? If this is what turns out to be I'm sure some people will be disappointed.
Though it seems more logical than the potential "encouraging phone use in the theatre" drama. (No pun intended)
Ok first off I don't know if it's happening or not, but I see where a lot of people are saying that apple would not release this during a middle of an os. One thing you guys have to consider is iPhone sales are down. So apple may release something like this to boost sales. People may buy a new iPhone or come back from android to iPhone to get the dark mode. And I personally hate the white screen texting I would like the Black much better.
All smartphone sales are down, this is not just an iPhone problem. The market has reached saturation. A dark mode is not going to sell devices, especially considering this feature would not be released until March at the earliest and anyone that knows anything about iPhones knows that September is the launch. So they wouldn't buy in March, they would wait for the rumored iPhone 8 in September.
How do you know it will be march before they would release it? Someone on here earlier said on 9.3 it only took like 10 days to release it fully to the public

No. 9.3 was in beta for 7 betas. First one came out Jan 11 and the last came out March 14 with the public release March 21. Over 2 months of testing. Apple's event was March 21st.
Additionally, the 'dark mode' code you are referring to was in 10.0 Beta 1, but was never seen again in 10.0 Beta 2 or later.
iOS and tvOS are very similar. They are both essentially iOS, just modified. Apple TV got dark mode, so its possible the code was shared. But 10.0 Beta 2 removed that code and it has never returned.
Apple has released various new features like Night Shift without the need of a brand new major iOS version. So just based on that those statements don't really hold much water--they are certainly a possibility, but not a certainty or anything even close to it.
I think Apple would introcude a real dark mode with the new OLED iPhone. Would make sense.

Im not saying it wont hapen but all the stupid hype cos a fool tweeted it, the world is full of sheeps that belive anything, just cos a nobody tweets something everyone thinks its happening well its not we havent even finnished testing 10.2.1 so how is ios 10.3 coming its all a joke

Are you referring to Sonny Dickson or the fake Apple engineer? Because Sonny Dickson is not just some random guy making a joke, he's had many apple predictions in the past, most of which have come to be reality... Not always in the timeframe he predicts but he is usually spot on.
I wish (although highly doubt) that 10.3 beta 1 comes out today. I don't care if dark mode doesn't come today (although I really want it) but I want new features to play with. Gimme anything apple. I'm struggling here. Bored to death of iOS already.
