Thus far, for me, after updating to iOS 10 beta, the only bugs I'm seeing are in specific apps.

For instance, when I try to upload a picture to Facebook, either in a status or photo update, the app crashes while selecting the picture.

Also, in the Photos app, the location isn't listed on synced photos.

Otherwise, the iMessage update looks like it'll be great. Kind of bummed only other iOS users (for now?) will be able to see the handwritten texts.

Well, 48 hours and I am going back to iOS 9. Every year I install these preview releases and more or less I am able to cope with issues, but this release is too buggy and those bugs are quite serious. Alarms not shutting down, music playing while answering a call, way too many spring board crashes, input recognition is delayed up to a second, whole OS freezes up if I try to do something quickly.

I'm surprised you're having that many issues. It's been quite stable for me.

A bug or turned off feature - mobile signature. With iOS 10 I can't use it to log in to my online bank account. Btw, thes beta is really stable.

Over the last two days, I've had 3 instances where my phone has shut down (with about 40% battery remaining) and when I try to turn it back on, I get the screen saying I need to plug in my phone as the battery is dead.

I was a few minutes, try to turn it on again, and it turns on showing 40% battery remaining still.

Anyone else?

Only used it on my 5 for a few minutes. Seems faster than iOS 9. I was surprised. Was VERY HOT when installing but was fine while using phone. Seems similar to performance on iOS 7.

Are there any features of iOS 10 not supported on the 5, like the 4S on iOS 9?

Just some things I've noticed:

Safari/Web Browsing: The whole jumping to the bottom of the screen thing when typing. Does it with both safari and chrome, but not the google app. I've also had a few times where I couldn't click any links from google, just had to restart to fix.

App store: Apps in the featured tab always show up. But the other tabs sometimes don't so I hot one of them multiple times until it's blank, then restart the app and everything is all good.

My photos app: Memories didn't actually really start until plugged in and at 90% battery. As for people, I left it on overnight and didn't move an inch, even with 100% charge and plugged in.

Settings: Sometimes after changing a setting, then double clicking to multitasking, the screen will briefly zoom in/then out to the homescreen before returning to the most recent app. Only a couple seconds, but still different.

Touch ID before the update was a huge mess for me. Works a lot more often after the update.

Sometimes, if I am multitasking too much (Using too much power) it will crash showing the loading icon. It starts back up in less than 10 seconds though. I'm on 6s+ btw.

This probably would've been mentioned already if it was there, but can we schedule Low Power Mode? And can we exclude days from Do Not Disturb's schedule? Thanks!

Turn on triple home button shortcuts and the multitasking bug will gone :) For sure you will have home button lags but no animation problem :)

Can't download or update any app at all through the App Store. "Waiting" and doesn't start downloading. Has been like this since iOS 10 yesterday.
Anyone else?
I've tried resetting network settings, reboot, power + home reboot, quit App Store and relaunch, log out and log back into iTunes/App Store, press 10 times on a tab in App Store to force a refresh. I can buy, but apps don't download.

Also, maybe not a coincidence, cannot check for software update. It just fails, saying there's no network.

I wonder if my phone just can't connect to the Apple servers somehow? Internet works, existing apps require network connection also work.

Try when in Appstore to cancel the update and update again!

yeah, try to Update All then cancel apps you don't want to update

I added this to the wiki page, but thought it was cool to bring up in the thread. When you say "Hey Siri" with an iPhone 6S and iPad Pro 9.7" near each other now, the iPhone will automatically turn off Siri and give way to the iPad's Siri. In other words, you see Siri blink on the iPhone then immediately go away while the iPad's stays up. Pretty cool!

I'm getting a lot of delays too. Mainly noticeable when changing tabs in App Store...or the phone app.

Weird thing is, I had these delays initially, but after a 2 button reset (which always takes a screenshot before it resets at the moment) everything seemed to speed up.

However...the delays are back, and resetting has no effect this time.

They're both on iOS 10 I suppose? Really cool feature! :) Wonder if that also works in combination with macOS and watchOS (I assume it would)..

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, there are a lot of posts in here and I haven't had time to read them all. I did find a weird bug, tho. Go to Settings - Maps - Transit. It just says "localized string not found" for all the options.
At least those icons would give you sense on which option is which.

Took my iPhone 6s off the charger this morning at 100%, listened to music while it was plugged in the car for 1 hour & then when I got to work. My battery was 70%. Usually my battery is around 90% when I was on iOS 9.3.3

iOS 10 Beta1 Battery life >>>>>>>>>>>> iOS 9 Beta 1 Battery life
That's how you need to compare iOS 10 with iOS 9 battery life, no sense in comparing beta with stable

When you 3D touch a playlist it brings up a menu where there is a play button on the small artwork (basically play album) yet the exact same icon before 3D touching doesn't have this quick play option. Just a tad annoying as I always started playlists by pressing the small play icon on the playlist image.

I did have a GPS issues with Maps. In my case, it was if the GPS location was behind to where I was actually at. It eventually kicked in, but the map, next turn, and voice directions were running a turn behind the actual location.
Guess I'll have to give it another shot

The 4 biggest issues I've had with iOS 10 beta 1:

1) Massive battery drain when using Maps (as much as 8% lost per minute)
2) Photos using battery (45% usage in last 24 hours), draining battery faster than charger can charge the phone
3) Phone "dying," saying it needs to be plugged in, then turning on with battery left
4) Crashes to blank loading screen, followed by reboot

I realize the battery issues are common with betas, but this seems pretty extreme. Is anyone else seeing this type of battery performance?

I just noticed that Siri crashes if I ask it what's my name (both on iPhone 6s and iPad Air 2)
