Is anyone else's news widget not working. Mine hasn't been displaying any stories since updating.

Seems this update has broken a lot if I'm going by reading through these comments. I see a new iOS beta record incoming.

Most likely anything broken has been fixed in the GM. Apple seeds these betas internally much earlier than they are released to developers. That's why the GM is already done and being loaded onto devices.

this update temporarily broke the way watch notifications work for me. the phone would get the notification and then 10 seconds later, it was pushed to the watch. had to reboot both devices for this to stop. now its back to normal, the phone doesn't give any notification when wearing the watch.

saw this bug last year on one of the iOS 9 betas i think but hasn't come back since. not sure if its a bug or just my devices. worked fine last night before the iOS 10 beta 8 update though.

So whats the point of beta testing with feedback? If we are getting old versions with bugs that are already fixed. Seems pretty pointless. Plus they get hammered with bugreports and feedback that are unnecessary. Esp since these are public releases you would think they would want the most stable version they have going out.

PB10 runs good on my iPhone 6. Battery life seems to be great too. Just like 9.3.5.

Because without the masses, a lot of bugs won't be discovered. People use their devices in many different ways. That is why some people experience some bugs that others do not. Internally, Apple is 2-3 builds ahead. That is why submitting feedback for bugs hardly ever results in the next build having those bugs fixed. It usually takes 2-3 builds. For example, take the safari scrolling to the bottom when backspacing or hitting the space bar.

Apple has probably been done with the GM since beta 6, and any drastic changes will result in a new GM candidate like iOS 7 (iOS 7 had 2) or a 10.0.1 update day of launch.

Someone here from Germany? I'm just wondering what the reason might be that Lyrics in Apple Music is deactivated for us? Was looking forward to use this feature... same with the News App (and Apple Pay but not Apples fault), all not available in Germany.

I'm noticing fast battery drain when using the device, standby seems ok. Noticed this on last few betas. 6S.

just noticed calculator doesn't rotate when opened from lock screen control centre. anyone able to tell me how long this has been around? it's fairly obscure so probably just a coincidence i found it now rather than a beta 8 issue. may be a feature too.

I just found that out myself today. Don't know if it happened on previous betas however.

I can press home button once to go to app switcher. This happens occasionally though.

Getting really awful wi-fi speeds on the latest beta - seems like a huge step back from previous releases. My 200mb service gets around 20mbs on the iPhone 6s now - its working fine on all none-iOS 10 devices.

No issues here with WiFi. Stating the obvious, but are you checking the same server for each test from each device?

Noticing the same. I'm on 1% now with 5 hours usage.

I've also noticed battery drain. Yesterday battery life was fantastic. Today it's horrible. 83% after 1hr of usage on my 6s. Yesterday I was at 98% after 1hr. Not sure what's going on.

Has anyone posted videos comparing the animation speeds and showing the home button delay? I ask because I haven't noticed any difference between the last beta and this one on my iPhone 6.

Battery % is buggy. Mine will sit at stay 60% for a bit when using and then quickly drop through 59, 58 then stay at 57 for a bit. Random. Blaming the beta!

It's always been this way. The internal battery meter probably has fewer than 100 discrete steps, but is represented as a percentage between 0 and 100. This means that some individual numbers represent more of the lifetime than others.

I highly recommend turning off battery percentage. You'll miss it for a brief time, but then won't notice it gone. I stopped fretting so much about battery life once I turned my meter off a year or so ago.
